VAR is overstepping and ruining the game. I say this because this will not be consistently enforced this season, it has been done on a whim.
You mean "rules" are ruining football. Some referees apply the encroachment rule and some don't. VAR is just a replay

I think the players are having to adjust to it, figuring out what they can / cannot get away with. They will learn soon enough.
They do in other European leagues. I saw one in Spain earlier retaken after VAR saw keeper stepped off the line before the ball was struck. Another Premier League VARce.
Because there is feck all consistency and accounting when it comes to these assholes.
