Man of Leisure
Threatened by women who like sex.
Might be a bit cynical, but that’s what I was thinking as well. That's Lingard safe for another 12 months.

Even cutting down would be a great step in the right direction. We're at 3x a day, 7x a week which is quite wild to think about.Spot on mate. All these lifestyle diseases can simple be prevented and possibly reversed by a plant-based diet.
The way most people eat is horrendous, especially the generation before us as you stated.
When the majority of the population think a cows bodily fluids, a chickens menstrual cycle and a pigs muscle is healthy, you know you’re in big, big trouble.
That's what I thought too. We really need to upgrade to better players.Might be a bit cynical, but that’s what I was thinking as well.
There has been an increase in iodine deficiency due to people not drinking milk, which contains over 70% of your daily iodine amount. Iodine is important for mental health. There has also been an increase in calcium deficiency due to the same reason, which can lead to cramping, brittle bones and irritation of the nervous system. Just eating plant-based meals will just lead to different health issues in the future.Spot on mate. All these lifestyle diseases can simply be prevented and possibly reversed by a plant-based diet.

If it only it was as easy as this. Yes it’s stupid archaic masculinity at work, but from the outside it’s so easy to say ‘oh he made the wrong choice’. It’s an endemic issue that is only fixed through societal education. It’s not just making the right or wrong choice, when you don’t think it’s the done thing to talk about your feelings. Why is suicide in men so high? Is it their fault? No it’s a pervasive continuation of old school masculinity. And I'm saying he made the wrong choice. It's stupid archaic masculinity at work and it only harms men as exemplified by his declining career these last few months. Now that he's talked with Ole and is getting support he's playing better.

Seriously?Might be a bit cynical, but that’s what I was thinking as well.
Not always. It depends how much you trust people and how much you feel you are burdening them or making excuses for yourself. It's actually abnormal. Normal people utilize their support network.
Ain't this the damn truthYou all seem to think 27 years old is some sort of mature age.
Sure it's mature for a footballer but not for a human. Jesus christ.
Im 29 and I'm struggling and I keep everything and all of it to my self.
Agree with the bolded (as the first born from a similarly traditional background) but that shit isn't easy. And a lot of the stuff we deal with gets swept under the rug because it comes with the territory. I have several friends who have mentally crumbled under the pressure of setting a good example for the rest, and acting as provider and simultaneously trying to figure out life as a 20 something year old.Talking from a perspective of a 26 y.o, I agree that it felt overwhelming at first when you suddenly had to take care of people other than yourself whilst being in the age of "I still want to play, I'm not that old!". But I suppose it's normal to happen if you are the oldest child in the family, you just have more experience to guide your younger brothers/sisters through difficult times so responsibilities fall naturally to your shoulders (in fact, it SHOULD be my responsibility since I live in an old school Asian family - You can't just marry and leave with your hot new wife while forgetting about 'the rice at home'). And in the case of him while He might have the money to fix problems, his mother is ill and that's not so easy to take. I wish him the best for his personal life.
Nooo! This article is about Lingard, not Martial. He's a top top player on his day. If he can find consistency he'll be idolized. He needs to stay more focused on the football side of things.
Come on he's human and everyone's different, you can't compare Ronaldo's reaction to grief to another it's just everyone deals with things diffrentllySo when CR's dad died he didn't want to quit the team and go back to Portugal yet this guy cries to the media/coach about his family problems because his mom is sick and he has to play the daddy role
It's a shame to hear about anybody who is going through difficult time with family problems at home. And I hope he finds support in his loved ones/the club to get through this.Whatever you think of his talent level and whether he's good enough and all that it's been pretty obvious all season that something was up with him. I just assumed he was taking on board all the criticism over the summer.
Yeah if all his family died in a car crash then I’d care. But this was nothing. I have no empathy and I’m a cynical poster. Such a poor interview, he should stop talking and concentrate on football.Poor interview, that's called life Jesse and people have many more problems and don't get the excuses in/get on with it. Wow he opened up, feck me. They aren't the worst problems to have at that age, it could be worse. I actually thought I was going to read something awful and feel sorry for him.
I guess this is why some guys don't like to open up. They get the rolley-eyes.So when CR's dad died he didn't want to quit the team and go back to Portugal yet this guy cries to the media/coach about his family problems because his mom is sick and he has to play the daddy role
Do you really think that age is the only factor? I know blokes in their 50’s who are like babies and can’t do jack for themselves. He’s a 26, not 46
I'm surprised you think that way Giflord. Ronaldo was helped by the club because he didn't hide his father's death, hopefully Jesse will get support from the club now that he has approached the manger. So when CR's dad died he didn't want to quit the team and go back to Portugal yet this guy cries to the media/coach about his family problems because his mom is sick and he has to play the daddy role
Red Cafe is social media. And it's full of abu cnuts.Nooo! This article is about Lingard, not Martial.
I have no stats to prove or disprove this. Just my own personal experience. Men and women tend to bottle up emotions feelings and issues. It happens all the time in my experience. Even myself. Just part of being human in my experience. Maybe it's my culture but this is very normal behaviour to me. He's a young human...he will learn and be better for itIt's actually abnormal. Normal people utilize their support network.
Perhaps, when it comes to personal or family issues, maybe some people don't like confiding in others, especially your boss at work. Having been through similar issues with my mum being ill and helping take care of my 22month old brother with cerebral palsy, whilst having my own 3 kids and working full time, i have complete sympathy with Jesse for taking so long to open up, cause i know full well, I wouldn't open up about something so perosnal, especially my boss. When in 7/10 cases throughout my life, your boss will put work above their employees personal life. Yes, United may be different, but doesn't stop the anxiety in confiding with others. Not right away. Seems he carried the burden on his own for some time.
Wtf are you guys on about? A player’s mother got sick and we generalized an entire generation of people while also trying to push for some debatable eating practices??Spot on mate. All these lifestyle diseases can simply be prevented and possibly reversed by a plant-based diet.

My thoughts exactly. Some of the posters in this thread should be ashamed of themselves.
