Pep, Klopp, Lampard, arteta, Mourinho, Rodgers, Howe, Hasenhuttl, Potter, Nuno, Pearson, Wilder - all of these managers spend most of the duration of games standing near the touchline, encouraging the players and getting instructions across. Everytime the camera pans towards the technical areas, you've got the opposition head coach occupying theirs, and ours just empty. It's embarrasing, discouraging and soul crushing. I was impressed with one of the head coaches yesterday - the novice among the two.
