People who think Rio has inside him info  Are you that thick ?
You better believe Rio wil still have connections inside the club. Not saying he has info on Bruno, but to just dismiss it is just as naive as it is to believe it.

You don't know, just like we dont know.

Yeah... not like Rio isn't good friends with Ole, doesn't know ANY of the coaching staff or former players.

Most of the top level media know and hear a lot more rumours than you'd expect also. Rio 100% COULD know, but whether he does or not this time is impossible to say.

Rio is obviously well connected to mufc. All he needs to do if he's curious if text a mate of his with whom he has a mutual trust.

Woodward will pull a Maguire again. Negotiate all window and still get his pants pulled down on price.

As much as id love us to get Bruno Fernandes ( I really really do ) I want Woodward out far more. And the Glazer scum..

I like him. I think he'd improve our team in two significant ways - having the ability to shoot from outside the box which would change the way teams defend against us, and he can improve our set piece deliveries massively.

But I find it quite strange that he's being almost pushed out the club - why haven't there been any takers? What were Spurs offering as a fee?

Sporting are desperate for funds, hence the need to cash in.

Why other clubs havent felt the need to take advantage is a fair concern.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised to read (not sure if it's true) that the president and sporting director of the club went over to Woodward's offices for discussions. Would have thought it's normally the other way around - unless of course when it's us trying to shift duds.

But what major club really needs him and is also willing to cough up a reported 50 plus million bid ?

There's a reason why its us and reportedly Spurs going for him.
With us we're desperately lacking in creative quality and with Spurs they're potentially losing out on Eriksen ,possibly leaving this January or for free in the summer.

Liverpool,City,Bayern,Juve,Real,Barca and A.Madrid certainly aren't in the need of him ,more so when you take into account of the quality they display with their midfield options.

 He's literally the epitome of what people here would class as a genuine ITK. Not directly involved but knows and is friendly with the entire club staff and setup.

Isn't Matt Judge the one who deals with fees and selling clubs? Woody is our DoF, at least he thinks he is.

Yeah Nou_Camp is way off.

Woody signs off on the money only, Judge negotiates. And Woody's not our DoF at all. Before Ole the manager's job at Manchester United was First Team Coach and DoF all rolled into one.

There was a change at some point in Summer 2018 though and we now have a transfer committee (hence Mou losing his shit). That's made up of:

[1] Head Coach, [2] Assistant Manager, [3] Technical Chief Scout (currently Mick Court), [4] Head of Global Scouting (currently Marcel Bout) and [5] Chief Scout (currently Jim Lawlor).

Each man has a vote, each man has a veto. The idea here is that the transfer strategy will not flip flap from manager to manager but at the same time, the managers veto ensures he'll never have a player forced on him.

His guy have been linked for a move in the longest time. There should be enough evidence if he can improve a squad. If he brought him in, I expect him to deliver in the next season. He might need time to get use to the premier league and expected to perform in the new season. If he is shit, who ever decided to buy him should be sack!!!! I hope he will bring quality to the squad.
