Is it because he is constantly injured and never fit? Why would anyone ever want him after his two years at Barca? They can't really sell him after they paid so much... basicly he is exactly same as Shaw.
He only became injury prone for Barca. He played a number of games for Dortmund and Rennes before then. We went in for Van Nistelrooy after he suffered a bad foot injury. Dembele is class and it's absurd to make the same comparison with Shaw. Dembele is one of those wingers that has the ability to change games like an Mbappe, CR7 (age 21/22)

It's because he doesn't play on the left or as a 10 and that seems to be the basis of us using/finding a right sided player!
I think Dembele has the potential to make it real big. The Barca move was a wrong one for him. Neymar left a huge void and playing next to Messi can be difficult. I mean Coutinho and Zlatan have also struggled. That does not make them bad players. If Dembele moves to Liverpool, we could see Liverpool win the league year after year. The guy is that good and under Klopp's guidance, I can say this kid could achieve his potential. We've been screaming for a RW whose rapid, has trickery and is able to dribble and does not need space. It would be foolish to not give him a shot.... a loan deal for the rest of the season is a great deal. Who knows? we could get Pogba to remain when he sees the club showing ambition.

Bruno, Soumare, Dembele, Demiral would be really great additions to the team.

Have you seen much of him mate?
I haven't seen a full game involving him yet. But from what i've been told by people who have followed him closely, is that he's a cultured midfielder very reminiscent to a young Paul Pogba. A player who could develop into a world class creative CM.

We are shaping up very nicely regards young up and coming midfielders from the academy. with Garner and Levitt as future options in the #6 role. Mejbri as the creative #8/AM. Add Bellingham to that and our future prospects in midfield look very good. I think two out of those 4 will become first team players for us.

Surely this must be for the U23 team unless he a physical freak like Rooney.
He's been starting games in the championship so he's probably above that level, to be honest. We'd need to loan him out.

State of this post more like. We should be signing up any young talent that is available regardless of whether they are desperately needed. How anyone can moan about trying to sign young exciting players is beyond me.
I dont care for young talents anymore, we have a big hole in our squad that needed fixing in the summer that got bigger now and I dont trust neither the board nor the incompetent manager to fix it.

Interesting, I'm usually skeptical of hyped up youngsters and academy kids, but with Greenwood and Williams looking legit and your guy Laird impressing in his limited outings, I think things on that end of the spectrum are looking up, we just need some ready to go players as well if we are to compete.

He's been starting games in the championship so I'd argue that he's above that level, to be honest. We'd need to loan him out.
Maybe back to Birmingham like Adnan suggested? It might make the deal go smoother as well.

The first team needs a elite controlling midfielder or potentially elite. A RW player like Sancho or Chiesa. A striker would also benefit us tremendously.

And if the club really wants to show real intent, then i'd be hoping for a CB like Ibrahima Konate to come in to partner Maguire. Or we could target young Tiago Djalo from Lille as a project and he looks like a fantastic prospect at 19 and falls into the commanding CB category with fantastic passing ability. But I don't think we'll target a CB for obvious reasons.

Leipzig's squad being taken apart in the middle of their first title run.
Really like Klosterman, would be a great signing for Dortmund with Hakimi likely to return to Madrid and Pizseck reaching 35.

I mean he has defensive qualities that Hakimi can only dream of and by Dortmund's standards would be a decent signing, but I think he's a bit bland going forward. It depends what the overarching plan is.
