True that. Just fun to see them struggle like with Liverpool. Hopefully we can turn it around against them in the cup. Will be bloody hard, but with a big signing in and Rashford fresh we could maybe grind our way past them.
At their best they are a level above and can play some fantastic football. This season they haven't managed to do it consistently. Liverpool on the other hand are more pragmatic and boring but have been super reliable.
Southamptons form is quite something, could be above us in a couple of week

Yea, they play prettier football at their very best. "Better", hard to say - for about two/three seasons, yes they were better than us (though last season of course was very close). But we also played very pretty football in Klopp's first couple of seasons - heavy metal and all that.
Man City, when things don't go their way, seem to fall apart a bit which is big.
Last season was pretty close overall. You won the CL, but they won 3 titles. Very close in the league.

Yep - especially that second sentence. They're great at REALLY hammering a beaten team. They won't just win 1-0 or 2-0, they'll win a very pretty 2-0 or go on to smash that same team 8-1 or something. They can't seem to overturn things against them though...

Karen Bardsley who is watching the game for BT said they are making too many passes, that they just want to walk the ball into the net.
They're quite often guilty of this. Liverpool can be playing poorly, as I think they have more often this year than last, and their style can be much more direct and incisive.

Its a weird criticism pundits often give us with little truth. We're losing because we're playing shite and actually shooting from pretty bad angles (at least since I got the match on screen, 2nd half).
Good overturn on the peno, would have been shocking had it stood.
