Well the government can’t be blamed for not doing anything now. Huge things being done by them. Hopefully this calms everyone down.

Arcadia was in trouble before to be fair. Still a huge amount unemployed though as theyre a big employer.
Oh yeah, wasn't specifically saying them, but it seems a lot of people are expecting to go bankrupt within days, surely that's not how responsible companies operate ?

HELLO
Feels strange putting all these measures in, seeing whats happening in italy and we're still halfarsing the isolation.

Has the magnitude of this sunk in for anyone yet? I’m really struggling to get my head around it.

Fantastic move to prepare the ground for any upcoming lockdown.

That's still probably some time away, but this with assuage the fears of a lot of people and make them more amenable to following oppressive instructions when they come.

The figures we delved into the other day with cases, tests and populations per region made clear that there is still a long way to go until the ceiling.

Flattening the curve is not enough once you have gone long beyond the point at which health systems can cope.

Even though we have Trump, I genuinely feel sorry for those in the UK. These half-measures won't work and even now it may be too little too late.

Conference was all a bit overwhelming.

Are they saying anybody that has to self isolate will get paid 80% of their wages or this aimed more at the people being laid off rather than the ones that still have a job open?

Boris dropping the ball on Mother’s Day. Just say NO. It was an obvious question and he fecked it.

Hopefully the closest we ever get to WW III. It’s the most impactful event since WW II. It’s the thing we will tell our future children and grandchildren about and they won’t be able to get their head around it, I only hope.

Officially the best poker player on RAWK.
I seriously hope that helps me. I'm technically a company director (pffft) and pay myself bare minimum and take what I can dividends.

They need to take that into account or allow me to pay myself a proper wage and claim.

If so I can tick over enough to take care of my self employed fella too for a few months.
