He's flip flopped almost the whole time he's been here, he's supposed to be an £89 million player. He only turns up when he feels like it. Don't get me wrong when he does turn up he is unbelievable and there are very few who are better. I just don't see why he gets a free pass and players like Lingard and James get a hard time.He's only made like 7 appearances ffs

Yep, I think the first team midfield will be Matic/Pogba/Fernandes, then we will have a Europa/cup team of Mctominay/Fred/Lingard or Pereira
The fact that he hasnt played majority of this season, people forget how good Pogba is. He has been inconsistent yes, but we are a different team when he does play. We are a better team with Pogba in the team.
I don't have an issue with that, Matic has been a revelation in the last 6 months. I remember the City game when we got completely outplayed in the league cup semi and he came on at half time and we started playing football.
I dont think we can go into the Spurs game without a holder.
He’s had a lot more good games than bad ones. He’s been MOTM in about 25-30% of our matches, and in the top 3 for many others. You will never like a player though if you conclude that his bad performances are because he ‘didn’t feel like it’, so it is what it is.
And if you think he gets a ‘free pass’ then I have no words at all! Just have a browse around! You would think he were a Liverpool or City player if you read the caf.
I frankly couldn't stand the sight of him on the pitch especially in the later part of Mourinho's career - it's clear to me now he was playing with a bad injury as since he's been out for a few months he looks brand new again.
Last season when he was given the chance to play, he looked like he was labouring to the ball and completely lost. I feel even Ole was surprised how well Matic done, he wanted him gone in the summer.

He gets grief because he plays like he couldn't give a feck half the time yet some of you lot are ok with that yet when another player is churning out poor performances they're a Championship player. Got nothing to do with being from an alternative universe or anything like that.
If he plays well and links up with Fernandes then great because I want to see the club do well. If I'm proven wrong about Pogba then I'll be more than happy to get some stick for it.

Judging from the reaction I've had in here I would say it's a free pass. The fans I speak with outside the forum mainly think he's overrated. I just want to see more of the performances he can do like against City a couple of years back. He single handedly won that match for us.
Anyway @RedTiger has asked us to focus on what this thread is actually for. I didn't think my original post would spark this sort of reaction, some of it has been constructive and there's been a few comments which have been a tad childish and unnecessary.
Like I said before this is a forum, you're not always going to agree with each other and I don't expect everyone to agree with me. Maybe I'm wrong but it's my opinion. If I'm proven wrong then by all means let me know about it because it means the team are doing well.
