Coming round to the idea that Pogba is better off coming off the bench. A midfield of Fred, Fernandes and Matic is good enough IMO with Pogba coming on later.
0-9 I like itAs a sign of respects to Mou, we should sink them with 3 goals.. at least. Then try and triple it. More goals means more respect.
I wanted this match done before the lockdown. Now Spurs have got Kane and Son back, and N'dombele can now presumably run more than 10 metres without being worn out.You lot have been so confident since the lockdown. Now the footy's actually back you are bricking it!
I don't know if he's pulled them off with Spurs as I haven't been paying attention to their games, but I know he produced his fair share when managing us - the Liverpool and City games spring to mind. He'd love nothing more than to produce one against his old club tonight. When was the last time anyone witnessed one of those
Yeah, but we have Rashford and Pogba back who otherwise wouldn't have been available.I wanted this match done before the lockdown. Now Spurs have got Kane and Son back, and N'dombele can now presumably run more than 10 metres without being worn out.
That midfield contained two solid defensive minded players and a hard working CAM. While limited in terms of creativity, it's certainly more balanced than a combination of Fred, Pogba and Bruno.I think this is lazy observation that I keep seeing.
We beat you with a mdifield of Fred, Mctom and Lingard?
If your saying Pogba doesn't contribute defensively, that's also been proven false many times.
0-0 incoming. ThanksI'd bet a good but of money that black lives matter will score today. I can just feel it.
Meh, Leicester did that this season, against Southampton, I think, so we have to to better. 0-10 will do nicely, thank you.0-9 I like it
Damn, there goes our hope. White flag~Sorry to break it to those or you who don't already know, but I'm afraid Phil Jones is out injured.
Ahh the living proof that Ferguson was human after allSorry to break it to those or you who don't already know, but I'm afraid Phil Jones is out injured.
You shut your whoreish mouth! You lot have been so confident since the lockdown. Now the footy's actually back you are bricking it!
Sissoko is actually perfect this type of scenario, obviously his football ability is limited but his energy will be important for spurs in the coming weeks.Kane, Son and Moussa Sissoko are confirmed to start, said Mourinho. (MEN)
What worries me is that Mourinho did start his Spurs reign on fire, when he had most of his star players fit. But of course we're also in a much better place ourselves with Rashford and Pogba back. Either way, difficult to know how this one will pan out, could be anything from a 3-0 dubbing for either side, to a snore 0-0 fest.Kane, Son and Moussa Sissoko are confirmed to start, said Mourinho. Did he?What worries me is that Mourinho did start his Spurs reign on fire, when he had most of his star players fit. This idea that a midfield w/o Pogba rather than with him is better for whatever reasons, is one of the most ridiculous myth that has somehow managed to be perpetrated on these boards for a while now. That midfield contained two solid defensive minded players and a hard working CAM. While limited in terms of creativity, it's certainly more balanced than a combination of Fred, Pogba and Bruno.
I dont remember beating Liverpool under Jose but maybe I am wrongI don't know if he's pulled them off with Spurs as I haven't been paying attention to their games, but I know he produced his fair share when managing us - the Liverpool and City games spring to mind. He'd love nothing more than to produce one against his old club tonight.
Maybe not on fire but he won 5 out of his first 7 didn't he? It all really started going downhill when Kane and Son got injured.
Rashford brace in 2017-18 season.I dont remember beating Liverpool under Jose but maybe I am wrong
We beat them 2-1 with Rashford scoring a brace, in 17/18.I dont remember beating Liverpool under Jose but maybe I am wrong
Rashford's hair looks great. Tahith Chong with his hairknot, Pogba's got a clean cut, Dan James with his mop hair.Players with new looks:
- De Gea
- Lingard
- Shaw
- Greenwood
- ??
If that game's any indication we just have to stop that one ball from from the Keeper up to Kane and we're golden. We beat them 2-1 with Rashford scoring a brace, in 17/18.
I think Lucas will start because he has started every game for Jose when fit - I really like Bergwijn though and I've no doubt he will come on from the bench at some stage. No mention of Bergwijn from anyone?
Judging by the last few years that makes it more likely to be true.Do people here believe in the leaked team? It's an underwhelming formation and player selection IMHO.
What is it?Do people here believe in the leaked team? It's an underwhelming formation and player selection IMHO.
What was that?Do people here believe in the leaked team? It's an underwhelming formation and player selection IMHO.
I didn't say anything about Pogba in my post. I just don't think that looks a particularly balanced midfield.I think this is lazy observation that I keep seeing.

Then got benched(if not benched then moved to the right) the next game to accommodate Sanchez or something of the likes. Mourinho's management was weird at time here at United.Rashford brace in 2017-18 season.
