My money is on him being shifted in the summer.
I think I´ll put my money on that as well, but I would not mind seing him involved tomorrow just to pass my final verdict on him. After all, he came back after the lockdown as the fittest player in the squad and Ole says he looks sharp. A lot of people dislike Lingard for other things than football matters, but I don´t share any of that. I´d love to see him turn in around and actually become good for United. And as we know, it doesn´t take long to shift the option of us football fans :D

Hope Bruno start vs Norwich. Although Lingard should be enough vs them. Still would not take the risk.

Curious how United fans would react if he score the next hat-trick
It's like asking how would Utd fans react if an Alien spaceship crash landed onto the pitch tomorrow.

He's scored 3 goals in the last 18 months, so the idea of him getting a hat trick any time soon is equally as crazy.

Bruno all the way. Lingaard shoudnt play. They've been doing nothing for 3 months
Which is why Bruno shouldn't play. If he does, and starts again on Tuesday (for me a more important game) then that is four games in what ten, eleven days? And this after not playing in three months.

We need to avoid injuries and rotate the squad. If Lingard is not good enough to start at Norwich on Saturday, then he shouldn't be at the club.

Norwich are absolutely there for the taking and I fancy us to put an early goal past them and win fairly easily. The FA cup could save lingards United career. I have to say he’s far from my favourite but I’m intrigued to see how he does tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing how our team does without Bruno or Pogba (if they don’t play)
I’d tentatively say Ole will give the fringe lads the shot but he may go really strong for another match or 2 to let the best 11 gel

Romero
Dalot Bailly McG Williams
Fred McT (should do well, our one time first choice midfield!)
Lingard
Andreas Ighalo James

I think that side can beat them

I think we'd be better of using Lingard as a winger/wide forward. He'll just get in the way of Pogba/Bruno if we play either/both of them.

That would be with 10 men only, as Tuanzebe is not fit for the game.

Losing to Comeback Winning!
"Jesse has always been a very fit boy and he’s working hard," Solskjaer added. "He is an athletic boy. So now it is time to give him a chance again.

"We know how he has worked. He has had his challenges. Jesse knows what it takes to be a Man United player and he has scored important goals for us. FA Cup final, obviously we remember that.

"Hopefully Jesse can take his chance and we see the best of him again. We know there is a top player there."

His time is up. If standards are to be raised, players like Lingard can’t stay. He is nowhere near good enough.

He is English, so finding a buyer in the summer should be top priority. Get some cash in.

I felt a bit sorry for him at times to be honest.

It seemed like some players were purporsely avoiding passing to him.

Woeful today. Hope I’m wrong but I just can’t see him leaving this summer. Not sure Ole has the stones/heart to give him the boot, sadly.

I don't mind players having a bad game but lingard today played like a coward. Slowing down counters and attacking play. Hiding away from receiving the ball at right place and then blocking space of other attackers. God awful performance and hopefully Ole stops wasting minutes on him.

His first minutes of the "season"...) give him a bit of a break

He was starting to play better in the second half.

I don't get why he wants so much time on the ball.

He's up there with the likes of Young and Fellaini in players that needed booting out of the club ASAP for me

Dropped another 1/10 today
You’re doing those two disservice by mentioning Lingard in the same sentence. Young was a good player for us. Fellaini did a job. This.. I don’t even know... he’s more on Obertan Bellion levels of shit.

Pogba came on in the 78th minute and probably created about 10 chances. I’m honestly not sure if Lingard has created as many chances as Ederson all season.
