Anything more annoying that thinking of master Transfer plan and the missing the price rise.

I was going to do Rashford/Grealish out and bring in Sterling/Greenwood but 0.1m out now!

Instead opted for Barnes/Grealish out and Martial/Shelvey in.

Both my leagues are on a knife edge now with very similar lineups. I think the guy below me has a better defence and he has Ings up top. I still have a few like an injured Lundstrum and David Luiz hanging about because of DGW.

Brought in Greenwood this week, who he already had, think I needed to cover that.

Its hard to know how to play the next transfer. It needs to be a good one.

My mate was 150 points ahead of me at one point and I've turned it around. Currently on 1899 to his 1814.

Its why i need advice. The person behind me closed the gap to 19 points. Mind you i was ahead by 80 before the restart.
You don't need advice from me with a score that good.

I have been playing 13 years and have 2 top 15k finishes and 4 top 20k finishes so I consider myself reasonably good at fpl. I keep missing out on the elusive top 10k finish club sadly. I'm currently ranked at 19k but have no chips left.

Go with your gut is my only advice. It's served you very well to this point. Go with your gut transfer n captain decisions and don't change your mind. That's the best advice I can give you.

Is there an award for whoever finished first? "FPL Red Cafe Champion 19/20".

My -4 didn't pay off. Salah only got 6. Wish I captained Bruno now.

Not a good week finished on 57. Saka and Egan benched with 10 each. :(
Took a -12 to get Bruno/Rash and Ben Mee in.
Got me 83 points.
Now taking a -8 to get Greenwood/Vardy and Taylor in.
Sometimes you gotta bite the bullet!

If you get success from two big hits in consecutive weeks I tip my hat to you. Its a hugely risky strategy though. If it goes wrong it's like a double blow and if the players you took out do well its a triple blow.

I have always been a Conservative player though. I take about 3 to 4 hits per season.

I do it far too much, but was chasing the game to be fair at this stage. Now I have a slim lead, I couldn’t resist doing it again, but apart from the odd time, the potential gains just aren’t worth the gamble.

I took a -8 last week and subbed out Baldock (2), Aubameyang (2) and Grealish (2) for Lamptey (5), Salah (6) and Giroud (6). So only a 3 point gain and that’s with a clean sheet, assist and goal from those that came in and a complete blank on all those that left. In other words, you need a massive luck for it to be worthwhile, nevermind beneficial.

That bring said, am trying it again this week, Mahrez, Mousset and Soyuncu out for Foden, Greenwood and Holgate (to free up funds for Kane). Obviously have to hope that Everton clean sheet and Leicester concede or Foden/Greenwood go mad, but I think I just love the gamble

Well Holgate just got injured so leave him out.

Vardy and sterling served me well early to be honest plus I’ve had Virgil and Trent since the start. Never removed them. 3rd season at this by the way.

I want to triple captain Bruno or martial against villa. I just know we will give them at least 4. Other option would be de Bruyne or sterling on the final day against Norwich.

Anyone watch the game today? How did Kane play? Thinking of either swapping Rash for him or DCL for Greenwood...

Aurier just got me 8pts and sent me up to 15k so can't complain.

Kane was quiet. It was a shocking game too. It's made me think twice about getting Kane again now. It is Bournemouth next though.

Had triple captain Bruno and Martial, so the week was never going to be bad. The rest of my team managed 19. Unbelievable really. The week before I had 83 points with a captain blank.

Definitely dropping out the top 10k

Think I'm gonna give him a miss. Even if he might do well against Bournemouth, he'll probably get the odd goal in his remaining games and I can't afford to bring him in this week and spend another transfer to get him out next week.

I think I'll just swap DCL with Greenwood and boost Foden to a premium MF next week.

Good plan.

I'm thinking I might even bank the transfer now as my team looks good and KDB (c) and Bruno (VC) looks safe enough.

I definitely planned on going Auba to Kane and possibly even TC Kane against Bournemouth, but I just can't justify doing that after the last 2 matches. Think I'll also bank my transfer this week and have the exact same C/VC set up. I'm really thinking about bringing in Vardy before he faces Bournemouth in GW35 so I can still capitalize on their horridness, haha.

Impossible to say considering we have no clue who else is in your team.
Hendo / Martinez
TAA / Doherty / AWB / Lacelles / Ward
KDB / Martial / Salah / Saka / ?
Jiminez / Rashford / ?

£15m budget
Don't have Bruno but difficult to get him in now

Who are you getting rid of?

Personally I think you're probably better off getting rid of AWB for Greenwood which would let you upgrade a defender/midfielder.

Any help is much appreciated to who I should bring in. I have 1 transfer and I have 3.1m in the bank.

I don't really want to take another hit as I brought in Salah this week.

I'm thinking to go for another Lpool defender. I also have no qualms about saving the transfer for the week after.

Upgrade Connelly to Ings? That way you have strong bench options to rotate for the run of three games in a week coming up.

Everton didn’t look great today and he has very scoreable games in his last three

Traoré and Nketiah - both good value but I need better

I suppose I could yet bring in Bruno or Greenwood for AWB plus one other transfer

Looking at Ings, Willian, Aurier

Get Fernandes in there lad. He's essential.

I didn't want to bring in Ings because I thought he will struggle towards the end especially with the fixtures he has.

I was feeling like my defence needs sprucing up.

Egan or Baldock for TAA then? They have no competitions to rest players for, and am sure he will be taking free kicks and the like!

United have easy games, but Bournemouth was arguably the easiest and they still contrived to concede two.

I would fancy Ings to at least score against Brighton and Bournemouth though! At home to Sheffield United on the last day too.

I still have a free hit and I genuinely don't know when to use it.

I really could do with a WC because looking back I would rather Greenwood than Rashford and use that 5million on TAA, Willian/Pulisic

Maybe that’s the best call then, Greenwood in for Rashford this week and then Pulisic in before Norwich game. Maybe a free hit on the last day once you know whats to play for.

If you can give me the three players you want to get rid or which one you not sure to keep, I might be able to help. Personally I prefer less defense at this point due to unpredictable to see which team will likely to get CS.

Having Jimenez and 3 Sheffield defense is just not gonna help this week.

If Pep didn't play Foden or KDB I would have racked up 18 points from the bench with Saka and Aurier.

I was tempted to bring in Kane for Auba, bit unsure of that now given Spurs don't seem up to much.

Problem is if not Auba, then who? (I have Jimenez and Rashford as my other strikers).

Greenwood. Then next week get Vardy as he's playing Bournemouth.

Lacelles hasn't done much for me. Baldock is 5m and I think I should get rid. I'm not so sure about Jiminez too he's gone off the boil.

Realistically I don't want to take any more hits.

Edit: A big if but SHU pick up a CS tomorrow that's a huge amount of points in my favour.

I'd quite like to bench boost this week as I'm thinking less chance of being trolled by Pep as I have KBD and Foden who are presumably likely to play this week. Next week the fixtures are easier but the risk of being Pep'd is higher. The only worry is my bench includes Lascelles vs City this week.

I've removed Auba and Cantwell and brought in Willian and Vardy. I considered Kane but needed a replacement for the injured Cantwell plus Willian is doing well at the moment plus Kane had a couple of tricky fixtures though so does Vardy. Having seen people's comments re Kane vs Bournemouth I'm regretting it

Had to take a -4 but Auba had annoyed me one too many times

Have just worked out a possible plan in which I use Vardy & Willian for a couple of games then swap the for Ward-Prowse and Kane when I have transfers back and that'll cover the last 3 games I also have free hit left

Jiminez to Jesus? Or am I mad.

City have the easiest 5 games on paper, albeit the risk of rotation.
