Marco Giampaolo (former AC Milan head coach) is Torino's new head coach. He has already started to play a role in Torino's transfer activity.

AC Milan are still in talks with Mino Raiola over extending Ibra's contract, but both sides are confident of an extension. This will allow Ibra to play with AC Milan until the summer of 2021.

We prolly take him back after 12 months if he improves significantly and if James regresses further, if that’s even possible.

I doubt we’d have the option to do that, otherwise there would be no point in having a two year loan.

It kinda makes sense, but shows that we wanted to sign the contract to protect value in case he comes good, rather than thinking he would make an impact in the team straight away.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Lille, and Istanbul BB did not comply with FFP requirements for the 2019/20 season, so they'll all be hit with sanctions. Source

Haven’t Lille brought a ton of money in from player sales over the last couple of seasons?

I’m pretty sure with loans you can insert a clause that you can take back the player at any time.

I don’t think you can if there’s any form of payment involved, which I would imagine there would be for a two year deal. I may be wrong though.

There will probably be a decent compensation figure/clause for bringing him back early which would mean the chances of utd activating are slim to none but they will have the safety net of being able to so if they so wish, I'm guessing there would also be a clause for him to return if they got relegated also.

There will be lots of little details that would make the loan appealing for everybody, they aren't going to ship him off for two years and forget about him. I hope not anyway as I prefer him to James even if he hasn't set the world alight when in the first team.

2 year loan for Chong would likely be the best option for him.

Usually loan clubs don't want to play players over their own for fear of them leaving straight away. With a 2 year loan a bit of that is taken away, and if he develops, but not to the standard of coming back to us there's always a chance they'd be his preferred option.

They’re definitely few and far between, Tevez to us & Hakimi to Dortmund are the only two I can think of from the top of my head.
Ødegaard to Real Sociedad, where Real Madrid has the possibility to call him back this summer.

On Chong. I don't think he has the skill and the temperament to become a world class left forward to back up or succeed Rashford. What I hope for is that they would convert him into an attacking left back like they tend to do in Germany, so that he can become our own Alphonso Davies.

I thought so too, but they also spent a good amount of money to bring in players this season. They may have spent more money up front to secure their incoming transfers whilst not getting as much up front from most of their outgoing transfers.

Think RM has to pay a cancellation fee if he’s recalled actually. Which is fair enough imo, but i’m sure this is regulated in all loan contracts.

Don't salary caps just mean more money for owners. I would rather that money go to the players who actually work for it.

It's probably to stop chairmen gambling straight after the virus, if it goes wrong the club goes bust and the chairman just carries on with their normal life, whilst the fans lose the club they've supported all their life.
