You may get some rando not liking you because you are a white Englishman, but you do not by default EXPECT the system to be against you. You do not EXPECT opposition fans to make monkey gestures. Same for xenophobia. Being discriminated on for being foreigner in England is not the same as some minority assuming you are bad. Minority has no power on you, you do have power on them.

Of course but you seem to be struggling with the basic understanding that there are levels to everything. Just because the racism against whites is something you see as less serious for the reasons you've explained doesn't stop it from being racism. It's still making negative assumptions based on nothing more than race. It's still racism. And it still exists.
Personally I see all racism as unacceptable. Again, before you start I'm not saying that equalises the different types of racism. I just detest the idea of any person anywhere judging someone by their skin colour. Whatever the direction it is bad and leaves the world a worse place.

This is purely anecdotal, but I was outside of a club and this guy was shouting at my cousin because she didn’t have a lighter but was smoking a lit cigarette (she had borrowed a lighter from a randomers). I told him to calm down as my friend went off to get the police because the guy was threatening to punch her. I looked over to see where my mate and the police were and this guy sucker punches me. I fall off the curb and land on my ass. Within seconds about 5 police appear with their weird thin truncheons out and just start beating everyone. My cousin, my friend who went to get them, some random people who had been watching and me while I’m still on the floor. They bundle off that guy and so I go up to them and ask them why they just hit us all. They, and I kid you not, denied that any of that had just happened. I pointed to all of the marks across my body and they said ‘no you got that in the fight’. I asked my mate who is Greek what we should do, he asked his aunt who is a judge and she just told us there was absolutely nothing we could do. They will deny it and even if it went to court they can say that even though they were using disproportionate force they were deescalating a fight...

Its the opposite the other end of the pitch where it is quite obvious to see the difference with Fernandes there, not just for his football either, his presence, example of workrate and constantly pointing and barking to other players where to go shows a leader.
Something still missing from our side in my opinion, we still need more leaders. Just look at Fergies three great sides and they all had leaders in them.
I only see one genuine leader currently and that is Fernandes, there seems a potential one also in Mengi from his history and interview recently, but that is looking possibly a good few years in to the future.

We know to little to judge him on. If he broke the rules and if he hit a police officer he should be stripped of armband and there should be discussion about putting him on transfer list. If it is some kind of missunderstanding then just move on.
