Exactly. He won’t have been following his pre-season training plan and diet today or tomorrow for sure. Ronaldo is a great example of total dedication to his career, but you can add most Raiola clients there too.
Do you think Raiola cares what his clients do in their free time?
BTW balotelli and Lingard are both Raiola clients

Seriously? After all the BLM protests and defund the police now we’re having sympathy for one of the most corrupt police forces on the European continent over one of our own players? Redcafe is a weird place.
Not really sympathy, just common sense, don’t think it warrants a green smiley.

The video and incident in general seems disappointing, expected to see a proper dust up with our captain covering himself in glory. It's clearly got nothing on Stevie me attacking a dj for not playing Phil Collins.

going through this thread today, its pretty obvious that the caf is full of united hating trolls. The state of some idiots who have Maguire locked up and banned before even getting the full story.

That’s not him in the video. Should be deleted.

Just because you are holding someone down you don't necessarily expect your mate to do that.
Not even sure that’s him in the video as others have said, but he looks like he’s just holding him down. Even looks like his arm comes out to stop his mate once he realises what he’s doing. Can’t trust anything that’s posted on Twitter. No idea how this will end up.

I noticed that. However without seeing their faces it could be any bunch of lads.

You are one of a few here who seem to not be appreciating that the job of an elite athlete is not just to train and compete. Absolutely their agents and clubs care what they do away from
the training ground and match days.

Honestly not sure which one he is from that video. Was that video from earlier on in the thread from the same night, when he was wearing a dark shirt with light bits on it? Because no one in that video seems to fit the bill.

Maguire may well be in the wrong here but I have zero faith in the Greek authorities official statement. Transparency international found it not uncommon for Greek police to aid people smugglers with fake documents for migrants. That’s the level of corruption you’re dealing with in that country.

Are you fecking serious?

I doubt you even have a clue about the matthew simmons incident yet you say he kicked him in the face...
I'm sure you managed to extrapolate what I meant without me having to say "jumped in the general direction of and attempted to kick at...". like the entire incident is some mysterious event shrouded in mystery only a few initiates know about.

Looking for the answers...
If any of them are actually him. Could imagine places like that there are a few punch ups.
Oh agreed. From that video the guy (who might not be maguire) looks to try and block the guy putting boot in too. Do worry they decide To throw the book at him tosend a message to boozed up English lads-we’ll send one of your national footballers to prison...

Exactly. I’ve been burned too many times before in the transfer threads, after seeing a video of a supposed player, in a certain place and on a certain day. Only to find out it’s an old tweet or not even them :(

Whatever the case may be, these are concerning times. Hopefully he’s not guilty and he learns from the experience to distance himself a bit more.

I don’t know how any of this works in football, but let’s say he gets convicted and has to do jail time. Does United get money back from insurance or something?

What has all that got to do this? Defund the police is madness. Harry should know better than to get caught up in this but he has done and now he will have to get his head down and put it right.

Which they would be doing for money, not for kicks. Police scams involving arrests are usually handled on the spot to avoid any sort of paperwork, or after a short stop at the station at most. If you want to scam tourists for money, officially arresting them for attempted bribery is not how you'd do it.

That’s all well and good but I’ve seen a lot of people, rightfully, criticise those condemning Maguire based off such limited information, surely the same logic should be applied to the police involved? I really don’t think that’s a controversial statement at all.

Most agents are blood suckers. Raiola is one of them.
BTW his next target is Rashford - He knows Psg want him next summer and he offered himself to facilitate the deal.

I’d rather back our player than the most corrupt police force in Europe. Does it really sound like Maguire to beat up a policeman and try to escape arrest, has he any form whatsoever for any kind of behaviour that would suggest he’d act in such a way? Maybe he did do that but it seems really out of character to me.

If you really feel that the Greek police deserve a fair crack of the whip then more power to you.

Honestly though, I find it hard to believe the police would be doing this unless something actually happened. If they made it up, it’s not good marketing for Greece under a very delicate time for their economy. They must be under immense pressure from the local government to not make this an international scandal.
