It is pretty stupid to be honest but hardly the end of the world if this teaches them a lesson.

I think it's a poor representation given they are on nationals, should maintain discipline its not a fact that every footballer has the ability to play for domestic countries.

They won't be fit though, this is pre-season for those players. It would have been much better for their fitness and sharpness than the crap friendlies they''ll play in instead.
When I said fit, I meant no injury. Also, I am sure Greenwood wasn't going to start the next game anyway.

Young footballers and their need to have another penis in the room when they're having sex. Strange bunch of lads.

Mason will need to hope if we buy Sancho he gets enough game time and shines to make sure he gets back on the international scene.

Be interesting to see how Pep reacts in regards to Foden given that Pep lost his mum to Covid in April.

Reckon this could well open the door for Grealish to get a start tomorrow night now but who knows with Southgate

You can guess who among the posters were naughty boys or girls in their teens.

Since this happened while on duty, age shouldn't be excused, however, we don't need the media getting excited either.

I think he was... Our attack wasn't great against Iceland and he's not dropping Kane/Sterling so could easily have imagined Sancho coming out for him.

Jesus wept. The comments on here
Silly thing to do, but understandable given their age.
Just means Greenwood, like Maguire and Pogba, will have extra rest period.
No, it tells you about a selfish human beeing don’t giving a feck about his team mates and their safety. It’s serious

Gareth Southgate said: "Unfortunately this morning, it was brought to my attention that two of the boys have broken the Covid-19 guidelines, in terms of our secure bubble. So we had to decide very quickly that they couldn't have any interaction with the rest of the team and wouldn't be able to train. Given the procedures we have to follow now they will have to travel back to England separately.

"Nothing has happened in the areas we occupy in the hotel. we are still getting to the depths of all the information because this was only brought to may attention a couple of hours before training, so I'm still getting to grips with the detail. What is clear is there is a breach of the Covid-19 guidelines. The whole squad have really followed that to the letter. I'm not gong into any more details until I'm aware of everything."

Would be interesting to see the reaction on here if this had happened whilst away with United (say in Germany for the Europa League... Though I don't know what Covid measures the club had it in place) rather then England.

The people saying give him a pass cause he's 18 are having a laugh. I'm 29, it's not that long ago I was at that age. What he did was stupid by any measure and he deserves to be punished.
He is now facing being quarantined. I can't understand what's going through his head. You have just being invited to the national team for the first time in your life, its a massive moment for anyone then he goes and does that.

This is actually the thing we should all be talking about.
I knew a couple of sex crazed friends who were open to groupies. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired prostitutes and rented a single room to save costs.
Considering these footballers are naked around each other, are good friends and their locker room talks I'd say its normal for most of them.

What sort of punishment do you think would be appropriate?

Gareth Southgate said: "It is a very serious situation and we have treated it that way. I have spent the morning dealing with this and then helping the coaches take training in preparation for the game tomorrow.

"They have been naive and we have dealt with it appropriately. I recognise their age, but of course, the whole world is dealing with this pandemic and there is a responsibility on all ages that they do their part. We are not underestimating how important it is we keep the bubble the way we have."

Asked how this would effect both players' international careers, Southgate added: "All of those things are too early, until I'm totally aware of every situation. I'm a father of young adults and I know they can get things wrong. We are not excusing that in this instance and we have to asses everything else moving forward."

So, what will Man United do?

A, Nothing.
B, Quiet word/bollocking from OIe to smarten him up but nothing public.
C, Public statement of some sort.
D, Fine
E, Dropped.
Probably B & D
