I have no idea about the player but thats way too much for a championship player.Somebody needs to tell Simon Stone about this deal, it might blow his mind.
We outspend them last season. Let them have the fun this year. And still getting outspent by Everton, Leeds and Wolves would be an excuse to me
I meant where you could also play for a team as big as roma. There are a lot of better places. Wouldn't be anywhere near my list of destinations to live.
We can buy the players they are buying which would take us backwards. Improving a squad of our considerable talents requires much bigger spending. And still getting outspent by Everton, Leeds and Wolves would be an excuse to me
Don’t think so... I’ve not got the foggiest idea what it’s called to be honestSliver?
I would argue improving a squad which is lacking considerable talent outside of the starting 11 shouldn't require massive spending. We can buy the players they are buying which would take us backwards. Improving a squad of our considerable talents requires much bigger spending.

Sure then the club would be happy to retain him I am sure but he will be playing backup to the current CBsThe club gave him his current contract
Could bemy memory is just as error prone as anyone else’s. It might be my memory of being less nervous than when Carroll or Barthez had the ball at their feet which is colouring my perception!

Aston Villa have very rich ownersSomebody needs to tell Simon Stone about this deal, it might blow his mind.
Look back at Villa's previous transfers and compare it to this one.Aston Villa have very rich owners
And most will be retired within the next 3 years. Absolutely mental strategy in my opinion.Inter must have signed about 30 players in the last 2 years. Mental.
Their muppets must be living in dreamland though ... at least their sagas turn into something. Spoiled little brats.Inter must have signed about 30 players in the last 2 years. Mental.
Yeah not really made too many deals which you think 'wow they're back'. A lot of them have been perhaps past their best as you say. Lukaku has worked for them though. Say what you want about the player but he does score goals. He did for us too.And most will be retired within the next 3 years. Absolutely mental strategy in my opinion.
At least Kolarov brings their average age down. And most will be retired within the next 3 years. Absolutely mental strategy in my opinion.

He should take this offers as it comes. They have been working on Sancho for over a month now and haven’t done squat. With every passing day we just become kore desperate and are gonna pay the money they ask anyway. Just pay it now and get on with other business.Tweet

You are assuming that every statement being reported is true, right? He should take this offers as it comes. They have been working on Sancho for over a month now and haven’t done squat. With every passing day we just become kore desperate and are gonna pay the money they ask anyway. Just pay it now and get on with other business.
If that's true, it suggests that we would only sign him if we failed with Sancho ie: spend some of that budget. Doesn't sound like we can afford both.Tweet
