We all love United
Are Villa going for Josh King for less than half the price? Also are they loaded now or somewhat spending the Grealish money?

And still getting outspent by Everton, Leeds and Wolves would be an excuse to me
We can buy the players they are buying which would take us backwards. Improving a squad of our considerable talents requires much bigger spending.

I would argue improving a squad which is lacking considerable talent outside of the starting 11 shouldn't require massive spending.
Similarly, signing Upamencano before his clause expired, similarly to other players that have been available. Someone like Marco Rocca as DM for instance.
Of course, though we are spending the summer chasing a massive record signing....

Inter must have signed about 30 players in the last 2 years. Mental.

He's an instant upgrade for Villa. Not a player that relies on goals and works his socks off. When Brentford played Swansea in the playoffs I couldn't help but notice how lazy Brewster was in comparison.

And most will be retired within the next 3 years. Absolutely mental strategy in my opinion.
Yeah not really made too many deals which you think 'wow they're back'. A lot of them have been perhaps past their best as you say. Lukaku has worked for them though. Say what you want about the player but he does score goals. He did for us too.

Morata informs Atleti that he wants to leave. He has an offer from Juventus and has asked the club to accept, but Atlético do not want to negotiate.

He should take this offers as it comes. They have been working on Sancho for over a month now and haven’t done squat. With every passing day we just become kore desperate and are gonna pay the money they ask anyway. Just pay it now and get on with other business.

Statements like this are so weird.

"Ole, we've been offered Reguilon from Real Madrid, what are your thoughts? He'd provide excellent competition at left back?"
Ole: "What about Sancho?"

It's so bizarre to insinuate that a manager could be so concerned with one position that he completely neglects another.

You are assuming that every statement being reported is true, right? :)

I suppose when you look at our team the absolutely priority is another attacker. Our forward line is very good but the only players we have to come on/rotate are Ighalo and James.

It’s not good enough and it cost us against Chelsea when we had to rest players and against Sevilla when we needed a plan B off the bench.
