I only watched the 2nd half.

But from what I saw, Spurs were absolutely fecking dreadful and they're in for a long tough season.

Are there any positives that Spurs fans are taking away from this?

Been awful everywhere.

Both Moyes and Mourinho losing their opening games. If anything, Spurs look worse than West Ham.

Good performance by Everton. Their new look team is looking impressive. That said, Spurs were terrible. Jose has a lot of work to do.

How many times have people lauded Man City because they supposedly have two top starting XIs?. Yet whenever there's talk of getting quality right through the squad at United, we don't need player Player X and we don't need Player Y? I don't get it. He would have been a perfect addition. If we're playing over 60 games a season, there should be enough game time to appease everyone.
Allan is what we need imo the squad has to be balanced.

Amazing result for Everton they have a nice team. Expected to see James play closer to the box but I guess he had more defensive responsabilities.

Disappointing for Jose, Spurs has too many bottlers in midfield and defence. They seriously need strong investment.

Allan looks the dog's bollocks.

Jose is such a dinosaur of a manager. He hasn't changed one iota since Porto. The game has evolved and moved on without him.

Huge win for Everton, that. I know it’s only José’s Spurs but they’ve been bullied by the big 6 away from home for as long as I can remember. Did it as the comprehensively better side too.

I'm a big fan of James. He will be one of the best players in the league under Ancelotti.

Everton did well.. looks like they might finally have a balanced squad .

Spurs looked like a Jose side..

James and Allan were ok.. didnt stand out as being a class above their teammates.. helped in them being a more complete team.

Yeah, a nice marker down for them.

This one is all on Mourinho I guess. The half time sub was an absolute feck up I don't even know what he was thinking with this. He spent the rest of the second half trying to solve the mess he created with this sub. Really terrible from him.

I really don't think he enjoys football much anymore. After he leaves Spurs it's time to take a break in an inferior league like at Portugal or something.

Yes. Good under pressure. Would have made a really dangerous midfield 3.
We've been needing a deep midfielder and a right-winger for more than a year now and haven't bought either.

That was embarrassing from Spurs.

Commentator nailed when he said Spurs players didn't know what to do with the ball when they had it passed to them. That was horrendous.

Lethargic from Spurs. They have been under Jose, just like United were.

Spurs' problem is that they've become a Mourinho team - sitting back and waiting for counter attacks at home. No progressive and proactiveness in their play. Should have built of Pochettino's good work by hiring a forward thinking manager. Spurs' weren't winning big trophies anytime soon so should have gone for development rather than short cuts.

We all love United
We tried to warn the Spurs fans but they didn’t want to listen. They are going through exactly what we went through under his tenure. It was absolutely dull and miserable

Feck me, I love seeing Spurs and Mourinho lose. Such a great match-up, I hope he never leaves.
