We are beginning to look at alternatives one week before the season starts? Really?Tweet

That literally had been reported by Fabrizio for about 5 weeks. We literally had one a few days ago confirming the agent fees and personal terms were no longer a problem and progress had been made.
Negotiation tactic.Tweet

And although it couldn't be predicted, lose 5 million Euros in the last week on the exchange rate. Save 2 million, spend 5 million more. That's the way we roll. It's probably because you can save 2 million on wages for a high profile signing, and the club has time to talk to sponsors.
Nope. The hate for Fjortoft is so petulant. Just because he's not saying what you want to hear doesn't mean he's a fraud and should be blacklisted. The guy is well connected in Germany.
Personal terms may have been agreed but the fact that after saying agent fees and wages were problematic they briefed these are sorted, definitely means something. That literally had been reported by Fabrizio for about 5 weeks.
Some people still think this isn’t happening.Tweet

Did you read the post directly above yours? And i have no idea why some are still optimistic about the chances of signing Sancho. Dead in the water.
It clearly isSome people still think this isn’t happening.
Fair enough if you think he's a dickhead. But the point remains - should he be blacklisted? I don't think so.Nope.
Because he's a massive dickhead.
So why do you keep popping in this thread and posting multiple times everyday? Surely if you thought it was dead you’d leave it. But you don’t, only reason you, me and everyone not a German football fan open this thread to look is for news that it goes through. And i have no idea why some are still optimistic about the chances of signing Sancho. Dead in the water.

Do we have time to spend like that? Already quite a few weeks in this saga. If this is a nego tactic - I don't see us coming off well in this. We forget that Dortmund is not desperate to sell, whereas we are desperate to buy. So I highly doubt whether the fee will decrease at all. At best they can wipe off 5 million or something.Negotiation tactic.
They take positive news as positive, negative news as positive, and nothing happening as some sort of sign that it's happening. And i have no idea why some are still optimistic about the chances of signing Sancho. Dead in the water.
And to lose him for "not willing to pay €15mn more" is just ridiculous! This is a very 50-50 deal. But i still have a hope that this will happen. He is too talented to lose. United doesn't have chances often to sign a 20y old attacking supertalent.
I don’t get the whole bonus angle by him staying till later in the transfer window. Wouldn’t bonuses be setup and align with season milestones? Why give a player a bonus for staying until preseason ends and the season begins but then he signs for another club before the window closes? Surely they would have a clause that states he has to pay it back or forfeits it altogether if he is sold after the fact. Just doesn’t make sense. My theory is that Sancho let us say we can't agree about his wages while in fact he was waiting for his bonuses (if that story was true). Obviously, he didn't want Dortmund to know this. It would make sense to me but may be bs, of course.

Confirmation bias, unfortunately. There are similar headlines about Perisic, Alex Sandro, Dybala from trusted journalists in the last couple of years that ultimately ended up with the opposite outcome.Tweet

And I have no idea why some think they have a genuine fecking idea what's going on either way.And i have no idea why some are still optimistic about the chances of signing Sancho. Dead in the water.
Looks like you can only bet on free agents today so nothing in that one.Anyone using skybet here?
Twitter saying you can’t bet on Sancho transfering to united anymore, true?
You mean like Bayern Munich? Yep.Could you imagine if we were actually a well run football club, like we are a business and signed players in an efficient manner and challenged again for the top honours?
The caf would certainly be far less entertaining, so at least we have that crumb of comfort.
You don’t seem to realise that posters like you saying it’s “obviously off” and “dead in the water” are saying this on absolutely zero proof of that, in fact the contrary as everything points to us still working on the deal, even our own clubs briefingsThey take positive news as positive, negative news as positive, and nothing happening as some sort of sign that it's happening.
It's like conspiracy theories: when you know your conclusion in advance, just about everything can be made to support your position.
Dont be such a tease, share the goods!Sancho's recent Instagram post suggests he is in England with his agent
Eh? Doesn't really look it to meSancho's recent Instagram post suggests he is in England with his agent
Dont be such a tease, share the goods!
Nice bumbag pouches, handy to keep his sandwiches and pencil case in I bet
It's saying something about Covid-19 can't make out much more.
Can anyone work out if that sign is in English?
