I thought about googling the logo but then thought “nah that’s too much effort”. Thankfully there’s stronger muppets than me! If he’s right of course.
It is 100% correct. Now we need to determine when the photo was taken. Lines up with the weather we’ve had today.

Of course with these influencer social media accounts run by PR agencies, when something is posted it has to be authentic and from the same day/minute/second.

"Juventus have put winger Douglas Costa up for sale as he struggles with injury, according to reports.
Goal.com reports that the Italian club have decided to listen to offers for the 29-year-old because he is unable to stay consistently fit."

If United were interested in Costa he would not be on the transfer list.

So we're left with Bale or Brooks as alternatives.

They’re old photos from a Nando’s photo shoot according to twitter. There’s also a photo of him leaving training earlier in Dortmund. Sorry muppets, today isn’t the day :(
You had to ruin it. We were finally getting to the levels of muppetry we all come here for.

Just watched this video again to remind myself what is at stake. The kid really has it all: He can run dribble at speed, make hollywood passes, short incisive passes, team player who makes the right pass choice instead of being selfish and always going for goal himself, knows the correct weight of pass, and can score from many different situations. He is media friendly, no known bad habits and wants to join us because he understands HE can contribute to helping us become the best again. Dare I say it, even better than Ronaldo at that age.

I don't care if Woody drags this to the final hour of the transfer window and ends up paying exactly what Dortmund wanted (or even more), just make sure we sign him, and I'll be very happy and congratulate our board for the ambition. If we don't, I'll spend as much time as I have in this thread protesting against our owners.

You’d say Brooks is the sensible, sustainable transfer. I have a feeling the club might think signing bale on loan makes the more business sense and it’ll appease a percentage of the muppets for now till they see him play a few games at least. I think We should have played ball with Dortmund if we knew we were going to bid big for him. Meet the deadline at least and negotiate a slightly lower price. Give them time to get their house in order. They wanted to do all this in public to show their fans yes the player is for sale but if we can’t replace him on time we aren’t interested. United dithered and here we are. This could have been an easier deal completed around the same length of time as havertz but I feel like with our indecision and slow working pace we made it a lot harder than it needed to be.

Aston Villa seem to be splashing the cash all of a sudden....

20m on Martinez and now 17m on Bertrand Traore a left winger? 30m on Watkins and 16m on Matty Cash.

Almost as if they know 50m is coming their way from United.

Grealish the one we're going for as we're too tight to bid for Sancho?

If he’s in London, wouldn’t there be a 14 day quarantine when he goes back to Germany?

Could be wrong, genuinely asking

Does Grealish play wide in a front 3 for Villa? If he does then I can see why we might go for him, otherwise we're stacked for attacking midfielders. Could we be going for Grealish for the LW and move Rashford to RW? Greenwood can play either side so I think it's up to where Ole sees Rashford long term.

I've already mentioned in the Tweet thread that if Sancho is not attainable then a left-back, centre-back, Thiago, and Bale on reduced salary on loan would be around 60 million and fill a lot of blanks.

I think Grealish could play anywhere in the front 4 positions and create chances.

Not saying I think he's better or want him more than Sancho but the club would probably be looking at him as a cheaper alternative to play the inside right forward role that Sancho would occupy.

Just saying its odd that Villa are splashing the cash the past couple of days thats all. Could mean something.

I see what you're saying, but it's extremely unlikely we're going for an English player and kept it as quiet as you're implying.

Also, I'd be disappointed if he's already in London. The flight tracker is such an integral part of any transfer saga.

We'll probably buy him. Company for Jones.
