It's high time we stop getting mugged off and paying these insanely ridiculously high fees in the transfer market. Unless you are Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar level, no player should be worth €100 million anyway in the real world. They say its a seller's market as buyers are always in demand but if every buyer have a gentleman's agreement to stop paying ridiculous transfer fees anymore, the player would run down their contract and move for free, it would leave the seller no choice but to let go for a cut price. I'd rather Sancho stay at Dortmund for 2 more years and run down his contract and come to us for free just to prove a point. He would still only be 22 by then.

I think all us muppets invested in this thread need to be prepared that this will go down to final day in transfer window, and so keep any moaning in that context.

IF we don’t sign him, then we should absolutely go apeshit but expending energy and angst before that seems like a worthless use of very precious personal resource!

This whole window reminds me of Dalot, Fred and Grant. Judging by the posts in this thread theres going to be a lot of upset posters around here.

Muppets need to rally together, we're in the final stretch! Some of us are flailing and desperately need each other's support!

Agreed. I’m relaxed until a negative briefing comes out.

The posts saying it’s dead in the water are tiresome though.

I also never called it a “saga” so please don’t put words in my mouth.

Sancho wants United since 1.5 years but transfer operation like this is complications.
You said there would be an announcement tonight. Coming into a thread and saying things like that shouldn’t be allowed.

Transfer fees are a lifeline for many clubs. Your suggestion would mean a lot of clubs would go bust. Putting a limit on agent fees would is a must. That money goes out of football.

Yes, yes it is.
Mate it's already the next day in India and I'm still up even though I'm piss-ass drunk only because I read a poster (you) saying something about mutv insider info. If there's no announcement in the next few hours, I'm going to have to call in sick later today knowing deep inside that the muppet in me was the reason for taking the day off. That and the booze but mainly the muppet thing.

There may be indications that Sancho is in London. It does not take much for a meltdown. I do not believe in the deal until it is completely completed.

Please tell me you’re joking?

Because no adult would surely get them self into that much of a state because of a transfer rumour.

I think we'd do better if we stopped feeding the troll(s).

I mentioned a week or so ago, but there are too many long-term posters that are exempt from moderation / were exempt from the newbie system because of their long-term status, and it drags the cafe down. It's a shame, especially when there's a push to increase forum activity/quality. I guess we're in the 'it is what it is' timeline.

Nearly 1000 pages of utter shite in this thread and you’re having a pop at people like me for dragging the quality down?

Good Lord.
