2 out of those 3 are pretty shit to be honest.
They'd have walked into most teams outside the top 7 a season or so ago. For Everton thats fantastic depth to have.

People getting way too hyped on Everton. They’re playing a 10 man Championship side today and at 11 v 11 were getting pushed back plenty.
This, totally.
West Brom were totally in that game until the mad minute at the end of the first half.

West Brom might need to reign in their slightly gung ho style if they get such an early red again though

the difference is that before when we went 1-0 down we would probably lose, even if they had 10 men.

Already 27 goals have been scored in only 8 completed PL matches - 3.4 goals per match!
It's been a brilliant return so far, for me, having every game more than makes up for no fans being in there!
I'm enjoying not seeing loads of pictures of gurning, abusive fans screaming at players.

There was contact and the player, understandably, fell to the ground, thus Gibbs punished and James let off. What you deem as minimal is another discussion.

At no point did I say those things are mutually exclusive, and it’s not a matter of having a system. Gibbs took violent action and James fell. That’s all there is to it, and why James wasn’t punished.

If you guys want to police how a player should react when they get pushed/shoved in the face then please proceed, but it’s pretty easy to see why one was punished and the other isn’t, which is all I was responding to.
So if I was to push you in the same manner right now are you telling me you would fall to the ground roll about holding your face? I know I wouldn't.

I'm not disputing the red card, Gibbs did something that you cannot do and deserved to go but I'm pointing out that players like Rodriguez simulating these kinds of acts should also be punished. David Luiz done something similar at Old Trafford to get Rafael sent off a few years back and cameras caught him smiling at the fans through his hands. It's disgraceful.

James deal looks like such a coup for Everton. No transfer fee involved. Absolute madness.
Aye. no spamming crosses and through balls. Just a true number 10 and cultured baller alround

The best Everton central defender IMO, is injured right now. Mason Holgate. Mina looking shaky, or badly needs a run of games.

As for Pickford, he's been getting a lot of stick. But he was excellent against Tottenham. Just needs consistency.

Felt Coleman showed some life, thought he was done. His performances are key to this diamond formation.

I totally agree.
But then i had a flashback to those Van Gaal teams that could barely get 1 shot on target v lower league, or even non league teams.

It has to be said, that Calvert-lewin is a bloody good looking man
It would seem my missus agrees with you, she’s usually indifferent to football on the TV, but suddenly seemed very attentive when he was doing his post match interview.

feck nbc here in the states. They used to have great coverage of footy but now they are trying to push this dumb ass peacock streaming service. Seems like every game has been on there this season so far and guess where united game is today. Fml

The League 1 players did not get the memo about the man bun being unfashionable.

Him or her? He might be a bit hard to find, but she’s in the other room listening to Taylor Swift loudly, so I could solve a couple of problems in one.
Her of course, how dares she pay attention to some other guy in front of you! And not gonna mention her listening Taylor Swift!:houllier: Do it swiftly!
Was watching Doctor Who the other day, and been saying "exterminate, exterminate" for two days now. Don't undrstand why is everybody looking at me the way they are. (Shrug shoulders)

Aerola or Areola will have a very good career in the Premier League. Physically, he is built for it. Wouldn't be surprised to see him land at Tottenham or a top 10 team by next season.
