What an idea for a thread Strewth.But we need ball playing CBS to break crystal palace 
I don’t think I have seen a CB as consistently as spineless as Victor Lindelof play first team football for this football club
Please someone tell me what Lindelof's strengths are. Just tell me what he's good at.

Maguire has been shite as well
Laurel and Hardy would be better. That was inept and embarrassing.
I have been harking on for two years about this. Used to get so much shit for saying Lindelof wasn't good enough.
Clearly needs to be dropped for a long time.

Point is Maguire is a lump of shite as well.
That has always been the case, both have never better than Smalling at any aspect of defending. I would go as far as saying their ball-playing ability isn't that much different.
Because he's dogshit. He's got the agility of worm caught in the sun. The turning circle of an oil tanker, and utterly useless on the ball and at set pieces. I've nothing to say on lindelof, I just can't think of anything to explain him.

The reality is neither Lindelof or Smalling are better than the other - both have positives and weaknesses.
It's actually useful having both - against counter attacking teams with pace like Palace, playing Smalling is better as he's a far better defender especially against pace. Against teams that attack like City, Lindelof is better to have as he's good under pressure and will help us keep the ball.
