I genuinely have no idea how some of you are still able to have a decent conversation with Ole outers. I gave up quite a while ago, after we finished 3rd (I think), as it's obvious that they have an agenda
There is no decent conversation to be had with our very own fifth column.

So all you can do is troll them and laugh at their meltdowns when we win and pity them for not being able to be supportive when we lose.

I genuinely don't know how you do it.
I skim most posts in here, but could never keep up with all the replies like you do. End up mostly just nodding along to your posts. Silent majority and all that.

He is not tactically a good coach but today he made some smart subs. But as a manager your job doesn't end there. Instead of just sitting and watching the game on the monitor he should have ordered awb to man mark march.
Like putting on a centerhalf for a winger and a midfielder for a striker, making us even more defensive until we ended up letting in the second goal?

We've murdered Moyes and Mourinho for stuff like that.

I’m firmly Ole Out and think it’s a shambles he’s still here, but one game doesn’t change anything we didn’t already know. Very happy with the lucky three points, penalties are always our savior, but the game was out of the same book.

Our team is playing worse than the sum of its parts, if it was the opposite we could really be formidable. We can and will win games looking great, but that’s down to us having great players and sometimes it will just click. Other teams will set up naively. Over 38 games, no chance this team plays to potential under this manager.

Ok Nostradamus.
I don't need to be Nostradamus, I just don't live in fantasy land because Ole used to play for us, like a lot of people here do. There's absolutely zero evidence past or present that Ole can take us to the top, if you can provide some evidence otherwise then please show me. Do you not look at how we play?

can we not just lock this thread, it is so active during the games with angry posts and he is obviously not going to get sacked 2 games into a new season before the transfer window has even closed. start a new thread in the run up to christmas if we are still playing appalling
If you don’t like the content of this thread you do realise you can ignore it and not enter it for discussions?!

I think Ole should have been our DoF, but managerial wise, from what we’ve seen on the sideline, he feels too passive and doesn’t appear have the in-game speed and analysis to affect the game directly. Besides Pogba at Tottenham, I don’t feel like he’s made in game changes to formation, tactics or personnel to help us in a game (from what I remember). We seem to have 2 gears and don’t know how to do anything else.

Back him until the end of the season and make an assessment. Football has changed and things are going 10,000mph faster than us e.g money, transfers, tactics, etc. I don’t think we have the time to help a coach learn the ins and outs of the managerial game. We need a tactician and a DoF IMO.

It’s basically one big circle jerk of all the Ole Outers who come in here to gloat each time United have a bad game

Let’s face it, Woodward only hired him because he was cheap. Is it £3m a year, Guardiola on £19m, Klopp £14m. Cheapskate Woodward needs to go never mind Ole. The players are an embarrassment at the moment. Maguire only 80% of what he was at Leicester and Wan Bassaka was out of position the whole match today. That penalty they got was a joke as was the one we got. Ole culpable of poor tactics. Putting on more defenders with a one goal lead and 20 minutes to go is dangerous as we clearly cannot defend. Perhaps when we get back we have a new chant. Defend, Defend, Defend Defend Defend. The sack looms.

This game warranted that. Pogba was non existent and matic was the only midfielder. Replacing pogba with fred was smart, similarly shoring up our defense was smart but what's not smart is not ordering awb to man mark march till the game is over.

I don't mind this thread as long as it keeps all the football einsteins in one place. The problem is that it doesn't.

Issue is we have a supporters who want our team to lose and can’t handle it when we win
This is utter nonsense. Nobody wants us to lose. You’re confusing people being angry at piss poor performances and believing the club deserves better hence airing their disappointment, with a desire for losses.

Issue we have are supporters who refuse to acknowledge what is blindingly obvious to everyone else simply because they love Ole. And claiming anyone who doesn’t think he’s the best thing since sliced bread, despite evidence to the contrary, are not true reds or “plastic”.

It will be same shit, different opponent next week. We will be fitter and the quality of individuals may shine through but it won't be to do with coaching.

I do want Ole out but he is the least of my worries regarding the club as a whole. I have been Ole out from day one and nothing has changed my mind. Do love the guy though as a player.

Probably not gonna make you any happier, but he is on £7.5m. The 7th best paid manager in the Premier League.

Earlier year he was tied 4th with Klopp who was also on 7.5, but now bumpered to 11.5m

Last year I voted to sack him, then changed it to keep after the Bruno revival. I’m afraid i should have stuck with my original assessment.
From the first day I voted out, and never looked back. He is DM level manager.

I guess same goes for any thread so why lock threads ... Hmm
Not true. That’s for threads which are deemed pointless/unnecessary/defamatory/duplicates of others etc, so not to clog up the forum, and therefore keep threads relevant. This remains relevant whilst he is in the job, regardless of whether someone agrees with the discussion points.

If Pogba was nonexistant, replacing him was not "smart". It was basic.

I'm not giving the manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world compliments for stuff like that.

You come out with a lot of nonsense.

As a Mancunian who tries to get to games (pre covid) I've always supported the team. As well as Ole now, I've been to games where I've wanted Moyes, van Gaal and José out and have been nothing but supportive.

Venting your frustrations and concerns on a forum doesn't change that.

maybe down into the championship or a relegation fight?
If we keep playing like today then it is not out of the realm of possibilities.
Never going to happen, the talent in the squad alone means we're going to be far, far higher.

But that's kind of the problem. It's the talent that will take us - and the manager - as far as it can, with very little help from the manager himself.

Basically like right wing loons when they all joined new cesspits like Gab and Parler to enjoy a safe space echo chamber to spout hate and toxicity.

We played the first half of last season looking like we had missed that pre season too. What was the excuse then?
Fitness has been the go-to excuse for Ole from the very beginning.

Why did we fall apart completely in the last 2 months of the 18/19 season? Fitness. Team was gassed because of poor fitness management from Jose.

Why did we start the next season so poorly? Fitness. Lack of a good pre season for whatever reason.

Why did we have such a miserable Christmas period? Injuries (caused by lack of fitness)

Why did we lose both semi finals and start to look poor again in the final few games after lockdown? Fitness.

Why have we been so utterly garbage in the first two games of this season? Fitness.

There comes a point, and it was a long time ago, when fitness stopped being a valid excuse.

You didn't think we played well last season after Bruno and Pogba came in to the side?

Is anyone besides you screaming fitness?

I'll ask you this: Is this squad fully rested, recovered and ready for a new season?

If your answer is no, then why the hell are you even posting this?
