For 20+ years I saw us dominate ‘pool under perhaps the greatest manager in football history; at no point do I remember the continuous “they should act like them” narrative.

They’re currently doing a great job at recruitment & as a club look to have gotten their act right - relax.

So many fools in here.

Ole has already stated the club know his views.
He's made it clear we needed reinforcements.

It is up to the board to get them done, not him.

He shouldn't throw a paddy like Mourinho, he has a job to do, and his position is clear.

I wonder how many of you throw a paddy when your manager/boss doesnt do something you'd like.

He now has to work harder than ever to do what he can with this squad. Us fans, ex-players, customers, need to be the ones to put the pressure on.

Let Ole manage, that's his job. And don't get on his back if we don't get 2nd, that is on the board and let us not forget it, EVEN IF Ole isn't the manager we want long term.
Well said.

Time to back Ole and put pressure on the real culprits.

Make of it what you will but seems as if business is done..

Good old "no comment" could suffice. Is he obliged to talk nonsense he doesn't really believe just to please our knowingly mediocre players and somehow give fans hope this team is actually improving like our rivals!?

"No comment" is usually taken as the one who utters it are dissatisfied or under pressure. So no, it would not suffice.

Angers head coach Stephane Moulin confirms Rayan Ait-Nouri's departure.

Stéphane Moulin: “It was certainly Rayan Ait-Nouri's last match under the Angers jersey. It gives me pain in my heart to see him go.

I see Ed Woodward has reached his now traditional 'throw shit at the wall and see what sticks' tactic.

Lucas Torreira has just landed in Madrid now but his transfer to Atletico de Madrid is NOT closed yet. Ojo [exclamation]. Hector Herrera should not be the only one to leave; another player must depart. The saga continues.

As Carl Johnson once said, here we go again...

Leonardo: "I didn't like Tuchel's statements. Neither did the club...You have to understand the situation."

“We will settle this internally. I don't like people thinking that this team is weak."
This is in response to Tuchel saying that he can't strengthen the team further as the club is failing to make money off of their player departures.

We might as well sign him instead of Telles.
I don't know much about Telles as I'd be lying if I said I saw much of him, but Ait-Nouri is over-rated imo. I've never been impressed when I've seen him, most recently last week. He's young of course and I'm sure he has potential to improve but I don't think he's as big of a talent as they say. Plus I don't think we should be going for a player of this sort of profile right now at left back. Shaw is already young-ish but needs a push to step up. A challenge from an older, more experienced player may offer this.

PSG struggling financially so will be interesting how they approach next summer when Mbappe and Neymar have only one year left.

We know how you feel Roma, trust me

The amount of similar comments from numerous of our transfer dealings in recent times paints a picture that we've got an unenviable reputation around Europe when it comes to transfers.

Not surpriwed at all when we're ran by assclowns in suits

We seem like proper amateur cnuts. When so many different sources claim it you kind of have to start believing it.

At least we are only mediocre on the pitch and not a complete shit show like we are off it. I can’t believe our Twitter account followers have gone up from 23m to 23.2 in about a week, this will keep the sponsors calling and the Glazers as owners, Woodward ceo etc. This nightmare can run for years to come.

I didnt watch the Amazon special Im guessing Jose was able to take out his Pogba angst
on Alli?
I'd say it was Ndombele. He has no beef with Alli. He doesn't mind keeping him around, but he doesn't see him as a starter. With Ndombele, Jose wanted to play him, but he wasn't impressed by his attitude and his defensive workrate.

Brozovic, an alternative to Bakayoko for PSG?
  • Inter want to sell for cash only
    • No interest in loan w/ buy option or a PSG player in a part exchange
  • Leonardo is still working on Dele Alli

So Roma are embarrassed by United wanting the market value for a player. Trying to shame a club into accepting a cheaper deal, I’ve seen it all now . Pay up or feck off to another target or wait a few months. Whole thing is tedious, Mike has a price United will sell for, pay it or don’t.

Agree. Smalling is a very good CB. I don't think we're asking for an exorbitant fee or anything.

This is how I have felt about this saga. Feel very sorry for Smalling who is clearly out of Ole's plans and just wants to play at a club that wants him. I doubt Roma are blameless, but we should have sorted this a month ago.

We are to be blamed for a lot of things but definitely not this Smalling situation. We have set a very reasonable price for a good CB who has already performed for Roma on loan. They want to be cheap cnuts and low ball us and then call us embarrassing.
They can get fecked for all I care. I am certain we can get other suitors for Smalling from within the PL. We are negotiating with Roma as Smalling wants to go there and then those cheapskates try to put in derisory offers.

They probably know how much angst has built up within the fans and just pushing this on us when it is clear they are being ridiculous making their crap offers.

We cant force them to pay up. Also they have paid alot more for another CB whilst claiming Smalling is a priority. This is all on Roma. 20m euros isnt expensive

The level of Twitter activity about United transfers is so low. Even the bogus bullshit merchant journos have stopped making up news about United because they know it’s just not credible anymore. We’re stuck with the squad we have, let’s hope Donny turns out to be the second coming of Ferenc Puskas.
