Smalling is a million miles better than what we have on the field. Yet Ole has frozen him out. Hope we sack him in time for someone to come in who can prevent our best CB currently to leave on the cheap.
I know I will take heat for this as well, but Poch is available and waiting. Stop Smalling from leaving and let Poch come in and teach this team some tactics, and how to work as a team.

Aye, agreed. Both are underperforming and both should be held accountable. We do all want what's best for the club and it's unfortunate that some in here have a clear agenda and support Ole more than the club.
Also agreed.

Time for Woodward to get fecked off, he hires the managers and he keeps getting it wrong.
Get a new man in to make these decisions, and get Poch in.

If the second half is the same as the first then yes it’s looking very bleak for Ole.
realistically? if you really believe that and aren't just saying it on a forum, you should bet loads of money for him to be sacked and make a killing on the good odds, maybe send me a consultancy fee

There is just no conviction from him. He describes himself as a "leader" manager, and not a "coach" manager, but he sits all game. When the team needs him he's just sitting down. It's incredibly frustrating.
And in the face of a massive refereeing injustice he's not even getting worked up. If he'd been creating hell then surely Taylor would've been wondering what the hell he'd missed.

I refuse to be mad at our players. Nobody can convince me that Liverpool’s players are individually so superior over ours. It is a capability of a head coach to build a TEAM and Ole just do not have that, you love him or hate him.

Ole would actually be a good DOF as he has signed reasonably well, when allowed so I'd move him on and get a proper coach in who can get the players playing well.
No. You don't need a DOF to come up with the names of local expensive overrated players.

Same old story, same old story.

Will be gone before the season ends, and we will get to watch history repeat itself all over again over the coming two years.

Don't even have to compare with Liverpool. Fecking Brighton looked like a better team than us last week.

The problems in defence can only be placed at the feet of the manager and the coaching staff.

It's worrying to say the least.
No no, apparently the performance of a defence built by the manager at a cost of £130m and then coached by that manager has nothing to do with that manager.

A bit negative mate.
Hard to feel positive 5-1 to spurs
I’ve been Ole in all the way, I still wouldn’t mind him staying but it’s not the end of the world if he’s sacked 7pm tonight. I just think the next manager will have the exact same problems. Something needs to change and it’s not consistently the manager every two years

I thought they were made by the committee of which Ole sits on.
I don’t think the players are the biggest problem here and on paper we’re a decent side.
Apparently not. They’re all Ole when they make a mistake. Just seems like a continuation of the last 6 years. The club is cursed.

A certain poster in here who has issues with anyone who dares to question Ole - despite never offering any substantiated posts on why he's good enough other than condescending muck - said the other day, get this, that we're "all having a ball with Ole at the wheel".

its not all on Ole just like it isn't all on Mou or Van Gaal. Should any of them be Manchester United managers though? Probably not. If we have a chance to get Pochettino, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, then we should go for it. But at the same time, Woodward and Judge need to remove themselves from all football related aspects of the business. Ole has done alright, but he just isn't the guy and never will be.

Us choosing Ole as manager was stupid. We barely supported top managers like Mou let alone an inexperienced manager like Ole who needs far more TLC. Honestly I supported us giving him a shot because I believed that we would surround him with experience including a DOF, a head of recruitment, experienced coaches etc.

There's alot of things that Ole did that doesn't make sense. We spent 80m on a CB with zero pace despite knowing that most of our CBs lack pace. He then bought AWB who is shit going forward when Shaw is pretty much in the same mould. James was a big waste of money as well + having a CM midfield made up of a talented but defensive inept Pogba and a slow and static Matic is asking for trouble.

Sacking the manager won't sort our problems. However sticking to Ole without probably support him is a waste of time as well. If I was Woodward I'd phone Rangnick and Mitchell tomorrow morning, possibly alongside Rene Meulensteen and get them to OT by tomorrow morning.
To do what? Just get a proper manager. Why the hell ad we giving him stabilisers to help do his job. Get someone who can do it.

Ole has to take responsibility for the players he bought in, his philosophy is to press from the front, push the CBs high up with attacking FBs but I really struggle to understand why he wanted both Maguire and AWB which cost £130m combined.
The Maguire one was always going to come back to bite us. Now that Ole wants to push up he's getting exposed every week. All we knew was we wanted a British foundation, we didn't pay attention to anything else

I wonder where's our favourite top red now? I'm sure he'll be backto castigate our reaction after we beat a pub team in the Carabao cup.

Woodward should resign but his last move as CEO should be to get rid of a trash manager. Dude has no control over the team. Players don't look like they even give a shit. Also remove the armband from Maguire, dude clearly has no clue how to be one.

He needs to improve this season. He got 3 players last summer and 1 in the winter, he'll get 3 players again this summer (looks like Telles + Cavani are coming).

So 7 players. I mean, he's been backed enough to challenge for the title this season.

He obviously won't be sacked - at least not before Christmas of this year if this continues. There is too much negativity around the club right now and a managerial change will cause disruption. The board should force him to bring on modern coaches though to plug the gaps that his current team has in terms of setting up a defense and in-match tactics.

Obviously not the right man but it will be hilarious once he goes and you will all parrot the same bs once a new manger comes in and we will witness the same shite all over again. Stop buying merch, don't renew your season tickets and when the covid situation is over stop going to home games. That's the only way we can get rid of the clowns who have been severely damaging our status as a top club.

Yes, when a manager underperforms he gets sacked. That's how this works.

Will Ole reinburse the club for his shit signings? After all the bloke loves the club more than anything, so he should dig deep into his pockets and make sure we haven't gambled away our future on crap like Maguire for his sake?
