To be fair that was ridiculously harsh but I’ve seen tighter than that. You can see Mane’s shoulder is further forward than the line.

Why didn’t we loan Romero to Everton?

Ancelloti is a classy man. We should have gone after him after Mourinho

Technically it was right. But jesus christ imagine being on the wrong side of that sort of decision, it's just miserable.

Funny for it to happen to Liverpool though.

Liverpool can't moan too much about decisons though. If Pickford gets sent off they don't concede 3 anyway.

Cracking game that, loved the offside/ not offside just to finish the game off. Imagine the RAWK thread will be soon.

Seriously the officiating in the League is a fecking joke at this point. In this game alone:

Weird rule that allows Pickford get away with a shocker.
Robertson kick out missed
Pull back on Richarlison not looked at
Weird offside at the end

How the hell is that acceptable at a professional level?

Best part is that managers can't complain about it too much or they'll be punished.

That one rivals the Pukki one vs Spurs in the list of ridiculous offside decisions. Who cares though, it’s Liverpool this time

As hilarious as that was for Liverpool, they can't generally just use VAR for super marginal decisions where you can't even see from the naked eye. It's for clear and obvious errors, and the PL need to implement it as such.

Liverpool almost gifted another 3 points due to a goalkeeping error. No doubt in my mind that goal would have stood if Oliver was in the VAR room instead of refreeeing

A dodgy decision going against Liverpool in the 92nd minute of a match they're not winning?

Funnily enough was just thinking this. They have an intensity and work rate that we simply don't have. I reckon it stems from midfield for us, with Pogba and Matic being quite pedestrian type players. Maybe is why we looked good at times with Fred and McTominay in midfield. Unfortunately I don't think they have the required quality to go with the work rate. Other than that it's not like our forwards and full backs are slow but maybe haven't been drilled properly to use that pace effectively. However there were times last season where we showed that type of intensity. Hard to put a finger on what exactly is the problem with showing that consistently.
Yes sometimes they’re very intense. I guess it’s just the wrong blend of players. Almost like we need a d o f.

This VAR and all referees in this country are just so appalling. Every weekend.

This time it was Liverpool on the unlucky side. It is like tossing a coin every time.

Pre VAR would anyone have even noticed that was a potential offside?

Just clear the obvious errors and leave those one's alone.

Liverpool have conceded 13 goals this season, nearly half of their entire total from last year already

Very good point. Lots of runners give passers like James options to display his art.
Yes gives him a platform. No offence to Gylfi but he’s a serious upgrade as a luxury player.
