We all know most Caftards are heavily leftward leaning with their political views, I think it’s good to have more diversity of views on here and ganging up on posters will just scare off members for being honest about their views. Nobody wants to come out gay or right wing in this forum. So even if you think a view is ridiculous, you don’t have to ridicule that idea and the author on each & every occasion.
Heavily leftward? That's hilarious. I'd say its middle of the road. Are you American or something?

Before it was his personal circus with shits in giggles, yet he delivered and did his job as a president. The lock her up bulshit was Trump being Trump appeasing the lunatics. Tuesday night he crossed the line though from which there's no turning back. Gop disowned him and so did every sane American who loves this country.
“He separated kids from their families and out then in cages, he sent hot squad up to round up non whites, he worked with foreign governments etc etc etc.. but NOW he’s gone too far”

Tuesday night he crossed the line?

Not when he was recorded speaking about sexually assaulting women?

Not when he was accused of actually sexually assaulting women and paid cases off?

Not getting into bed with Russia?

Not putting his family into high ranking positions within his own government.

Not when he mocked the death and funeral of an American war veteran?

Not when he was stoking racial tensions and inciting violence across the country he presided over?

Not when he attacked peaceful protesters with tear gas to clear a path for a photo op?

Not when he refused to release his tax returns?

Not when he was deliberately walking away from his responsibilities in helping to protect our planet?

Not when he killed 250,000 Americans with his mishandling of the pandemic?

No, he crossed the line on Tuesday by losing an election. Don't pretend to give a flying feck about decorum or class - if he had won on Tuesday night you'd be on here defending him and glossing over his actions, despite the obvious fact that he was planning exactly this strategy long before the election.

Telling his voters not to vote by mail, attacking the eligibility of mail in ballots, preventing states from counting mail in votes early - everything has been designed to discredit the democratic process incase he lost and you didn't care one bit until he did lose.

I don't know why we still give these window lickers oxygen. Criticising Biden is fine - he's not a great candidate, but everyone with a brain and an ounce of integrity should be celebrating him turfing that fat, orange prick out of the White House.
Brilliant.

He lost. Just as for every other Republican who is oozing out of the woodwork and suddenly finding their moral spine after 4+ years of defending the indefensible, that was the tipping point.

I'm just not comprehending how the denigration and attempted destruction of democracy, and the stochastic terrorism is worth the supposed benefits of Trump. There's a point that reasonable people should be able to step back and say "this is too much". That people don't think he got to that point is frankly a crushing reality.

How long do people estimate this will go on for? The excitement I had 4 days ago has gone and now I can’t even rejoice in Trump supporters tears

Under normal circumstances this would have been over. A normal President would have conceded yesterday at the latest with the numbers being as they were. We all know this is over. Let them prove that it's mathematically impossible for Trump to win and then start the process of dragging him out of the White House. This doesn't have to be called before then.
They will have to carry him out in a straight jacket.

Yeah, it's like a good TV show that kept going on after the writers ran out of ideas: it's been fun but now the plot is meandering and you have the feeling they're just padding it now in a desperate attempt to stay relevant.

I'm not a Trump supporter. I voted for Trump because I wouldn't vote for Biden. If you have to choose between eating a shit sandwich and eating a double shit sandwich, does it make you a shit sandwich lover?
If you claim not to distinguish between someone who has long been actively trying to destroy the pillars of democracy (describing the press/media as the enemy of the people, undermining confidence in the voting system, packing the judiciary with appointees, encouraging far-right, heavily armed militia etc etc), and someone who believes in democracy - and worse, to describe latter as more shit than the former - then I question your motives and good faith.

Been any major updates overnight? Surely they’re nearly finished counting now.

Under normal circumstances it would have been called long before. The AZ early call might be an excuse before but there’s zero reason not to call GA, PA and NV now. They are just all playing a game of chickens to see who call it first.

 Ah, the sunny optimism of youth.

Biden's lead is down to 30k in Arizona, increased to roughly the same in Pennsylvania and he's 7k up in Georgia. Nevada counted a few votes and then stopped. They might count some more and report them tonight (European time).

So we need Biden to carry on building his lead in PA and that's it. Finish above a 0.5% margin and no recount. Finito.

GA is - rightfully - going to a recount, NV looks relatively settled and I'm still unsure how AZ plays out.

Rules for a new game:

1) Drink every time Chris Cuomo announces a Key Race Alert.
2) Drink again if there's no new information in said Key Race Alert.
3) Die horribly of alcohol poisoning

Tucker going full Lou Dobbs

See, this is kind of why I have a hard time understanding how Fox News is still a thing. Even if you have zero information about US politics, or media landscape, or literally anything other than how to keep breathing so you don't suffocate out of sheer ignorance, watching him for two minutes should just ring alarm bells everywhere. How do you watch this and not struggle with a strong urge to call an ambulance for him?

I think these last four years has been a case of most Republicans just taking advantage of the situation, ignoring and tolerating Trump, while getting GOP stuff done. Most of them hated him before the 2016 election, I don't think that changed over night, it's been an open secret that McConnel loathe the guy. They've enabled a dangerous man though, that might backfire and make Trumpism a massive force they have to deal with in the future.

The problem is that Learn to code has been the go to answer that Dems use to avoid dealing with the issue and providing support and some sort of safety net for people losing jobs in these waning industries. Also, there is only so much coding jobs out there and not everyone as the aptitude to code. The line has been used so much that people have turned it into memes so, to use that line now can be seen as highly insensitive and a sign of dems trying to shirk their responsibility again.
What's the alternative to retraining people who are out of jobs?

Decision Desk HQ as called it at Biden 273 with Biden winning Pennsylvania. Yet MSNBC, CNN are scared to call it, in case it hurts Trumps feelings.

And they called it when Biden was 10k up in PA. Now he's close to 30k...

It‘s tactical and I agree with them in this case. Trump is desperate for them to call it so he can try to use their own arguments against him and say “WHAT? NOT ALL VOTES HAVE BEEN COUNTED YET SO HOW CAN YOU CALL IT?”. Usually a candidate would have conceded by now but that’s not going to happen here so they are going to wait until it’s mathematically impossible and not give Trump the satisfaction.

Is there any new network that likes Fox News and Murdoch. Even some of the Fox reporters must be thinking they are being made to look stupid.
If you sign up with Fox it’s kind of expected that you’ll lean far more to the right. They’ve been making stupid remarks for years. All that Trump has done is damage the cred of reasonable Republicans. Fox will soon be back on the train of blaming Democrats for all society’s ills
