It's even more pathetic than that. We had a demented Giuliani, clearly way past his sell-by-date and accompanied by no-one of any substance, ranting away through a loud hailer on a run-down patch of tarmac, right next door to sleazy sex shop called Fantasy Island.

The contrast with a President-Elect already assuming the mantle of power - and the Trumpian disconnect with reality - are truly astounding.
100%. I’m really happy Trump (hopefully...) will be out. But, I am at the same time still really worried because 70M voted Trump.

It’s clear how much of a phoney he is. He isn’t some messiah who is so energetic and enthusiastic and galvanising in his delivery. Yet, people are unable to see through him. That concerns me because something is causing these people to be hell-bent on being behind this guy. And it just can’t be something rational. Which tells me something bigger is wrong and needs fixing.

I’m just hoping having someone at least sensible like Biden in there will begin that repair path.

Amazing stuff, I'm so happy. Joe Biden is the 46th President and Kamala Harris is the 49th Vice President of the United State of America. :D

Is that real?
Those images are real.
Isn’t part of his job to try and get close to people in the White House? He certainly wouldn’t be the first person to have to go against all his instincts to cosy up to powerful people he despises, to further his career. I have friends who’ve done something similar and it’s a corrosive experience for your self-respect. Those tears could be about relief, as much as anything else.

Sounds like you're describing somebody who worked in the sex industry

When do you think we'll next the see ex-President in front of the cameras?
What became of his imminent presser?
EDIT: oh Right - still upcoming - 4 Seasons Total Lambasting. What are the chances he says something like “this cost me time and money you know, being your president. Feck off USA. You are fired.”

Van Jones loves pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. He is close friends with Ivanka and Kushner and has attended numerous events and functions at the WH in the last 4 years.
This week has been my first real exposure to CNN and that guy seems so fake to me, very for-the-cameras. Multiple times over the week he's gone for the sentimental shtick. His "Heroes are hard to come by" speech, emotionally thanking Santorum for admitting Trump's lies about election fraud may be wide of the mark (it had to be dragged out of Santorum yet Jones made it seem like a huge deal!) and the crying today.

Maybe I'm being too cynical, I dunno.
