No. I had a text on the 13th telling me I would be getting it on the 19th. Since then, nothing.

That's exactly what they should've done. We're not talking about a toaster here. We were promised delivery on 19th less than a week ago. If they'd said all along it would be 20th for NI residents it would be less annoying, but really they should've just posted a day earlier.

Not a big console gamer at all, any reason why the rush to get the console as soon as from people in this thread? Some new games came out, better graphics on the new console, or just wanting to try it out asap? I admit I don't know any of what's new in the new console
I'm getting Spider-Man ultimate and Demon's Souls. I haven't played either of them but keep hearing how great they are so looking forward to playing next-gen versions. What are you going for yourself?

I usually just hammer COD WZ and Fifa, with the occasional Final Fantasy, MGS, Red Dead etc. But I'm so excited to play these games. I got an eye on Devil May Cry too.
It's the new playstation....that's really exciting.
I have a gaming PC, getting a better GPU doesn't feel much different. But a new playstation? That's a whole new era of gaming.

You should do both. Companies are notorious for not following protocol and you’ve got to be on your toes to match that. If you really want a ps5 over the next 24hrs, you’re most likely going to have to put in a lot of work.
Make sure you’re logged in to each site a good ten minutes before each hour and refresh each one intermittently so you don’t get automatically booted. Prepare for the sites slowing to a crawl a few minutes before supposed launch... then the gazillion 404’s and full-but-empty-but full baskets at checkout... fun times ahead, laddy!
Make sure you got payment details saved too if possible.
