Don't wait to pull the trigger on whether we will make the top 4 or not (or win EL). This guy can't reach the knock out stages anyway.

Feckin Sack !

I do not get what's the point of prolonging this. We all know how it is going to end.

Who would have thought that giving the job to a not good manager and then keeping him in a job even after 2 years of mediocrity is not a very good idea?!
Majority of the club's fanbase.

He’s going to be here for the season because there is another individual talent to paper over fact he is a very limited and defensive manager with no consistent plan. Given how out of his depth Ole is he is massively over achieving on a personal level but he is holding players back.

Nothing is being built or developed here, no long term plan and we’re not significantly any better than we have been at any time post SAF.

Time's up. Ole has to go. This is a good squad with an array of attacking talent. You don't keep on coming back from deficits if you don't have talent. But they are not a sum of their parts. Time for a different manager who can get the team to play together. Currently the team is underperforming based on the talent level. Look at Spurs and what Mou is doing. He's maximizing the talent in the team. Ole isn't, plain and simple

EL again. What a mess. He will play our best team til the end and we will lose in the semi finals against a Spanish/Italian side

Sack him in the morning please

Kicker described it best. He's a manager who has no football style and relies on individual moments from players to bail him out.

For the love of United just resign. At the minute after Sheringham scores I switch off.

United finish 3rd in a group with a CL finalist and a CL semi-finalist.

Not much to complain.
I'm sure you won't complain. Arse won't even see the backside of the CL for the next 10 years.

He should lose his job but he won’t.

At least we're 10/10 on the schadenfreude
am too mentally wrecked to understand what happened in this game. Maybe OGS got it horribly wrong in first half or maybe the players were utter w@nk. Probably the former but brain is scrambled.

the idiocy of this results is that we were quite magnificent in 2nd half with Pogba delivering a brilliant cameo. Have to ask what would have happened if Ole had asked the team to start like that, but I’m not sure if this team even knows how.

The club has backed him so he's going nowhere.

Tragic football. Poor decisions and game management time and time again.
Players not improving, dwindling results, dwindling ambition.

Plays injured players despite them getting worse.

130m on two defenders who should never have been at this club.

He needs to go, but he won't. This is getting worse and worse.

Got beat 4-0 by Everton, 6-1 by Spurs, 2-0 by Burnley at home, 3-1 by Palace at home.
Results like this time and time again.

After 6-1, my patience was over. This is just painful now. He's not good enough ffs.
Him being a club legend is tearing the club with him.

Really started the day at the top of the group and needing just a point to advance to bottoming out by the end by conceding 3 before we start looking threatening...

Embarrassing stuff truly and quite simply not nearly good enough

No excuse for today Ole got it horribly wrong. Once we attacked you could see that they were there for the taking. This is a team we spanked 5-0 just a month a go and yet we approached them as if it was Bayern. Just a pathetic team selection and yet again too slow on the key subs.

I’ve enjoyed Oles management and I’m not ready to say it’s the end of the road but I’m pretty gutted after that.

Ok, so for those who are Ole in. What's the end game? What's the hope of this season?

Finish top 4 again and get not do anything in the CL again? Just there to make up the numbers?

Ole might get us top 4 again but that's about it. I guess that is enough for few.

Can't back him any longer. The guy is tactically a clown. Any ambitious board would sack him but our board is clueless

Still happy with OLE. Sick of constantly changing manager. People really need to calm down. The grass isn’t always greener and this is the greenest its been since we sacked Moyes, LVG and Jose.
Our fans are now accepting mediocrity :houllier: :houllier: :houllier:

Frank Lampard has been managing 3 years and qualified from his group on both occassions, but because Ole is considered better than LVG (won us an FA cup) and Jose (Europa and League Cup) its fine.

He's never going to sacked after this, but maybe if City do us because I feel Ole's luck is running out now. Maybe there'll be a chance then?

I really just want to see what a top coach will do with these players

Ole’s performance throughout this CL campaign is utterly shambolic. Seriously the amount of really terrible examples of poor management it’s just shocking.

How many fecking wrong things can one bloody manager do in one game ?

Starting the game with 5 defenders and 2 DMF, setting us to defend and play for the draw.

Subbing off Telles and bringing Shaw back to LB then immediately afterwards subbing Shaw for Williams. Wasted 2 subs on bull-fecking-shite and nothing else.

Putting on TFM while we bloody need a win. Williams, Axel and TFM. He put on 3 defensive players while we were losing.

I can't fecking believe how a manager can be so out of depth in such a big game. I really can't. David fecking Moyes would have made half of these mistakes.

I'm so fecking done and I'm sorry everyone. I'm so fecking done with Ole. I'm so fecking done with being optimistic about anything, literally. We can defeat City 6-0 and I'll still be done with him.

Feck football.

We were great in the second half, but absolute shite in the first. So fecking frustrating we are out.
We were not great by any means. We still struggled to actually create attacking chances, we gave away possession with sloppy passes too often and let's not forget the 3rd goal calamity.
We were better in the second half, but I've seen great United performances and at no point in this match did we reach that level.

Behave.

United throw away qualification because of an inept manager and his inability to organise our defence is the reality.

Very disappointing that we needed two goals at the start of the second half and our tactics were to get a free kick or penalty or corner. Says it all really.

I’m pondering dipping my toe into the Ole to go waters. He ballsed it up badly. Shat himself tonight. The last few weeks we’ve seen the best and worst of him but he’s in deep shit now.

We all knew the way to approach this game. We all knew to take off Fred last week. Except our boss. Criminal decisions.

At this point, we should really cut our losses, we can still 100% challenge for the league in its current state with a new manager and 1/2 signings in January.

He needs to sort out the defence ASAP. Ridiculous the number of goals we are conceding. He can be sacked on that alone.

I think this could really knock the confidence and we go into a slide. See how city goes but we may need to replace old to stop the slide
