Might be a long time till the next CL-game. Absolutely ridiculous starting Matic and McT together in midfield. The Telles, Shaw and Williams subs made no fecking sense what so ever.
Williams really looked lost and out of his depth and I actually like the lad.

If people haven't been watching, I honestly believe Pogba and Matic being so poor to start the season destroyed the tactics we had at the end of last season. So, Ole felt the need to abandon it, but has really struggled to implement something else. It's caused a lot of inconsistency.

This campaign wasn't on the players imo. Normally I'm always on the side of the manager, but I honestly feel Ole's tactics have cost us this season more than anything after the first 3 games ( I put that down to lack of fitness and preparation). I think we have a lot of quality in attack and are actually decent enough in defence ( i feel the system changes have been the problem in this regard). Our midfield has been really unsettled and inconsistent so far. We really need to stablize quickly or move on from Ole.

What was that fullbacks subs all about, as if that would get us back in the game. Mental.

Here’s praying PSG get docked points for game abandoned, even though they are doing the right thing... :keano::wenger:

Just making light eh...

Still go back to Istanbul, that was the game.

Utterly depressing on so many levels.

OGS will always be a legend as a player, but he's pitifully exposed tactically.

De Gea and Maguire. Just FFS. Pair of White Elephants.

Rashford needs to watch what Cavani does and learn.

Effing Europa league again. Gash.

For the first time since his appointment, and with a heavy heart, I'm calling for Ole's head. I desperately wanted him to be successful here but it's clearer every day he never will be. Tactically inferior and apparently unable to motivate our players. This team is less than the sum of its parts and that shouldn't be the case.
Calm down, walk away, then come back in a few hours and rethink it. We are still 6th in the league and were not expected to progress from this group when it was first announced.

What a crap night
It’s the hope that kills you
I was ok with 3-0 but 3-2 is just too painful

We're approaching Cygan levels of stupidity in defence at crucial moments. A few can be forgiven but when the pressure is on we constantly get outthought. Ole needs to send them on even Andy Townsend's tactics truck and LEARN TO READ THE PLAY>

Sack him just for those fecking subs. Williams for an unfit Shaw after you've hooked a fit Telles?!! And 2 defenders for 2 defenders when you're 0-3?! The guy hasn't got a fecking clue. The players know it. Most of us know it. It's just a shame that out board aren't football people..

I was simultaneously fuming and gutted during the game, but after only a few minutes reflection I already can almost chuckle at how bad that was. I doubt I will see a worse performance from this team this season, so that is something I guess.

Total disaster. Don’t really know what to say. No defending Ole, but we were sub-par from top to bottom.

I don't believe for a moment that Pogba was sidelined for "tactical reasons". Otherwise after his performance in the second half at the weekend, he would be on the pitch. Undoubtedly. For me, it is obvious it was not tactical, and all to do with his mouthpiece Raola saying that he is unhappy at United on the eve of this game. So he should not even be in the squad.
He played well, but we still fell short. I'd rather we sent out the message that we're moved on already. Annoying that he is puts in decent performances like this when he has a point to prove, but can't be bothered otherwise.

I can't fault the manager for the formation, 3 at the back was a sensible thing to do, and it's ironic that it's the sloppy defense that ended up costing us.

I have no interest whatsoever in watching us play in the Europa.

2 out our starting eleven would be in contention for a place in a team from the last 16.

Referee was biased against us in the first half but whole officiating crew's pure ability was also not upto the standards of the PL.

I get the defensive subs, at the end, but the Telles Shaw Williams merry-go-round was worryingly confused.

Had a feeling we would love with that shitty line up and formation.

5 defenders and 2 DMs and westill can't defend....so how about we play with more attacking intent from the start, rather than waiting to go 2 down.

Ole is not the man who will lead us to trophies.

I'm so pissed off, I sat stewing all game at the feckery i was witnessing and then it's the hope that finishes you off. Trash defending, not enough quality or mobility in midfield, game was a disaster class.

Need to watch that first 25 mins again as I still have no idea why it all happened. Was it a tactical cock up by Ole or did our players just royally fcuk it up? I remember seeing many occasions where our 3 cbs were just marking space with only 1 Leipzig defender on our D. With 7 defensive players, how do Leipzig fullbacks get so much space they can directly pass to each other???

small note to Pogba who I thought have a brilliant cameo.

50mil right back and 80m centre back, one can't run, the other can't do anything bar "tackling"

That full back merry go round was mind boggling. How do we end up with Williams on? It’s like a really crap game of musical chairs
