He's their mate, they won't. Jose would get slated if he was our manager, Ole gets away with loads.
Exactly two years ago Mourinho was 6th and reached knockout stage. Got sacked.
After investing 300 mil, failed Cardiff manager is 6th and out of CL.
We never forgive Mourinho setup against Sevilla. What then to say about this bus today?

What is Ed waiting ffs?

It is not about insulting fans. It is about giving name to new generation that lack little bit of patience and think football is a game where you can restart or change thing by pressing on and off.
This is such bullshit I wonder why I try but let's do it for fun since Wole certainly does not provide any of that.

How old are you that you talk about this young generation? Are you some pensioner in a retirement home?

I would suggest the people asking for his head are more likely to have watched us under SAF and have the appropriate standards for a club of our size. They are also the people who actually live in the real world and realise that football has lost this 20-year manager trend and even in the past, it was never a common occurrence.

So with that being said, please do feck off with all this patronising bullshit because you're worse at argumentation than Ole's at tactics.

I don't believe his support on the Caf is represented in this poll. Mods won't like to reset the poll at this moment in time, understandably. But we need a new poll at some stage. I suspect most of those votes are dormant.

Ole isn't a world class manager but our team is far, far away from a world class team as well. No manager in the world could win anything with this lot atm. Perhaps some could do better, but put us back on the top - no.
Ole is guilty of many things, but it's not his fault when our defense looks like a bunch of amateurs, or when Rashford and Greenwood react in such good positions to score the way they reacted.
Cavani showed them what it means to be a world class finisher in this short period

Nothing to lose sacking him. We won't go anywhere under him, just more inconsistency. Sack him now and try and find a future.

Nothing more futile than doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

The sack Ole option would be at 90+% if he wasn’t a club fecking legend.
I've wanted him gone for over a year but I don't see how us sacking another manager before January helps us in the long term. Who takes charge this time? Laurent Blanc? I'd rather we get the wheels in motion for Marco Rose, Nagelsmann etc. in the summer with a DOF behind them.

It is when you bought most of the players for that defence

Yeah the days of unproven managers getting years is long gone which I know the purists won't like to hear

I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.

Yeah I can't believe that many posters still want him to stay either.

Ralf Rangnick.
He got it wrong tonight changing to 5 at the back with no preparation time. At the same time starting 4 at the back wouldn't have made us favourites, Leipzig are a good side.
Which is why in my eyes he doesn't belong here. His own insecurity breeds like wildfire throughout the team. How can you ever hope to be consistent, and begin to challenge, if the manager gives the impression he doesn't even believe himself?

It's the same negative setup, lack of any attacking plan, that shows him up every time. Even before a ball is kicked, what kind of message does that starting lineup send to his players, and Leipzig? How is it acceptable to be afraid of teams here?

Leipzig are a good side, but their players aren't a patch on ours individually. If they came here, we'd consider them deadwood in a week. The difference is what a competent manager oozing positivity does with them.

This reminds me a little of what this place was like when Moyes was about to get punted. It was still split right down the middle with some folk saying "he needs time" and others saying "throw him in a ditch". It was a little more understandable then because we had just seen the great Sir Alex retire and thought that all we needed to do was give a manager the chance to build their squad.

But what exactly is Ole building? The only manager that I can think that we've had since Fergie who had a clear vision for the future of the squad and how he wanted them to play was LVG, and that was clearly the vision for us to become a really shit team. I just don't see how giving Ole more time is going to realistically get us anywhere.

And don't think for one second that he'd get his first choice players next summer. We'll probably get Fellaini on deadline day to replace Pogba.

Football is cutthroat for managers now. We've tried the "give him time" for a while now whilst the rest of the footballing world has changed. Sack him, replace him, sack the replacement in a couple of years, hope Woody gets the chop and the owners realise that changing the manager isn't the only thing that needs to happen.

Buying Maguire and AWB for 130m and he still can't build a decent defence around them. How many managers are allowed that? This has to stop.

I switched my vote.

I think Ole did a good job last season, considering our squad and injuries. I think he's done well building a squad and getting rid of the non-united players but our defensive frailties, the performances vs Istanbul/Spurs and just our general cluelessness means I just feel we'd do better with another coach.

I wanted Ole to succeed but I think his tenure has run its course

It's not a new generation, football has been like this for a long, long time but we were shielded from it with Fergie. This is just the reality of football, love it or hate.

The poll is open so people can change their votes. Not keen on resetting after every match.
I get what you're saying, but clearly it doesn't work. I think it's a critical point in the season though (with January coming up, out of the CL etc.) which warrants a clear assessment on the fanbase state of mind, no?

Where are those comments? I gave him critism for starting game this bad. But I can still see that he did something good in changing systems so we could get out something from the game. You can see positives even if you loose. As you can see negatives when you win. Solskjaer is like any other manager. No more, no less.
Zero positives from him today.

The players through their individual brilliance nearly got a result for him today after his formation and tactic naivety got us down by 2 goals which is pattern like in our previous games..

Doesnt that concern you?

Doesn't it hurt you that we concede so much under Ole?

Doesn't it concern you that we dont have a style of play? He's reverting to a 5 of a back because we ain't good at playing attack like jurgen klopp

Doesn't it concern you that he still hasnt solidified our defence

Doesn't it concern you our players, defenders and attackers are still so inconsistent under him

No it don't.. you know why? You rather him stay at the club cause you love him more than the club, hence why youll find any positives over the real problems.

It has lost 20-year manager trend. I don't think it will ever be again. But we don't have to have 1-month manager trend as some are almost saying. If you lose, the you are off. Maybe some of people like that, I don't. When it comes to my age, I'm not pensioner.

The point is, he's been here 2 years. That's more than enough in modern football.

Maybe it's the couldn't care less level. I've resigned that the torture will continue for some time and he has more lives than a cat.

There was anger at first, but every game, just like tonight, feel very indifferent. It's like an epitome of 2020 - you just know it's a big waste of time, we will win shit under him, being awfully coached in the process and the whole club is a playground for a mediocre manager, but you just have to sit, relax and be on the front row of the circus show.

You are right in that he has been here for 2 years. Question is are we better now or not from where he took over? Do we see progress or not? Or have we gone backwards?

How long should a manager get according to you from the day he takes over?

I think it's time. Don't think he's been an awful manager for us, and of his signings I'm only seriously concerned about Wan Bissaka, but I don't think he's going to give us much more than this.

We hired Kovac. It happens. You just need to realize when to let go.
[/QUOTE]
And he won you double in his only season. And you still fired him after few defeats.
If Ole wins something, he will get new contract and 5 more years "of time"

2 years of going no where slowly... the setup & the coaching appear non existent! We have no clear approach after two years still relying on Bruno or Rashford to save the day... city will thump us but even that won’t be enough to move him on.

I know. But two years now i am listening how good that we don't need to watch Jose's football anymore. While we are playing even worse and more defensive under Ole.

He's a washed up has-been of a manager, that's why he was sacked by United and was working as a TV pundit and betting company salesman until Spurs needed to get rid of the guy the Cafe is demanding United hire.
He won the league with Chelsea, got our best finish post-SAF and has Spurs top. That's pretty good for a has-been.

This is such bullshit I wonder why I try but let's do it for fun since Wole certainly does not provide any of that.

Exactly. It's irrelevant that keeping SAF proved to be the right decision. Football has completely changed and besides, if giving every managers five years was required, would we even have hired SAF in the first place given that we'd have kept all his predecessors no matter what?
