Romano trying to make it into a saga for retweets.
Typical of him. I posted in the summer window that I wanted my tagline changed if I was proven right on this bullsh*tter :D, called it ages ago.

People still hang onto his every word.

Heard from other fans outside of the club that he's one of the rising talents in the South American region. Hopefully by this credit he's not far from first team football.

I don't think he's a bull shitter but he doesn't half milk any tiny bit of gossip he hears.

He creates his own narrative for each and every transfer on the planet fishing for clicks. It would be more believable if it was specifically for one or two league's or when certain agents are involved.

He got caught out big time in the last window when he clearly didn't have anywhere near as much information as he made out.

People believe him because he jumps on the bandwagon when things seem to be done and dusted so on the surface he seems reliable, people then use his tweets as some sort of rubber stamp to verify a transfer is happening. He's never seemingly first to break a story which is telling in itself.

I believe he has a few contacts, just like all journo's, other than that he's a complete sh*t merchant.

I don't think he's more talented than Fred. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he goes straight into the first team squad. More like the Under 23 squad, just like Pellistri.
To acclimatise, yes. But I can see him coming on to give players a break here and there.

Doesn’t mean that he won’t be eased into the first team gently. He’s still a kid

He'll get plenty of games when we've wrapped the league up by April.

What date do we expect to learn he's gone somewhere else then? Jan 3rd?

I don't know. He got there as early as he could
There is one that almost looks like a scissor, but yeah they hard tackles but fair. Just know in England we have the best actors when it comes to getting your opposition carded. And our refs buy into every week, and that's not even including how triggered they are too any sort of contact made on the pitch these days.

Yeah would need to watch going to ground and hooking leg to win the ball over here especially with VAR in place.Having said that he does also demonstrate ability to intercept the ball effectively in this video too.
He does, like how he tries to steal the ball in the oppositions box when they trying to break, there was one where it was just in front of their box. That is a great addition and skill to have, would make us definitely more lethal. All in all, I'm happy we are being linked to these kind of players for a change.

Oh yeah he definitely is capable of making us more lethal, honestly think how he (if signs) Diallo & Pallestri fare will decide on whether we still buy a starter RW & DM in the summer.

True that, however will definitely need to give them to and him if he does sign time to bed in, they still young and raw. Werner is a good example of the norm when young talents come over to experience the PL. But definitely if they do well, even if its a little inconsistent but they can show that talent, then we could be set for the foreseeable future.

Vickery: “the real deal Holyfield “
Box to box, dynamism, ability to win the ball. The best they’ve ( IDV)produced so far

Yeah he needs ignoring as without transfer rumblings and ongoing rumours he has no job, it's in his interest to put his own bullshit twist on something to drag it out for clicks.

Sounds like he is capable of protecting the back four but also getting the ball to the forward thinking players too.

Vickery repeated what he said with the ‘real deal’ line. Not a trickster but a box to box midfielder who has basically got it all. Much more positive than he was about Pellistri.

Personally I love these kind of transfers and the price puts it in the low risk, high reward (potentially very high reward). Will watch with interest.

Wonder if we could maybe see him playing as a DM but also possesses those DLP abilities as well

Did it sound like the transfer was nailed on?

Does he have a release clause? £4.5m seems ridiculously low for such a highly rated young player

Didn’t have that information to hand but it certainly looks like it. IDVand Ecuadorean clubs in general, develop young players and sell them, so can’t see it not going through

He wasn’t asked about whether the reports were true or not but he certainly didn’t say there was nothing in them either so like the rest of us is probably assuming the reports are true. The tone he used made it sound like he thinks he would be in the 1st team squad pretty quickly. In summary, he’s a big fan of the player I think it’s fair to say.
