We are in this race. Best chance of a league title since Fergie.
I would agree with this, no team looking superior out there, it's Liverpools to lose and i believe City will pick up better form at some point and will become more secure in that Top 4 however we have a serious chance to be in there with a chance if we can sort out our stupid mistakes,

Anything can happen at this point but were not as bad and everyone likes to make out

There's "fast" and there's "quickness". James is definitely not quick at all, but in all out sprint over 40 yards he looks the fastest plater in the league. But he's looking nothing more than a pace merchant now, which is a shame. Barnes, by contrast, has no problem at all turning in and working out of tight spaces. Tidy little player, he. But can he continue to put in excellent performances or will he slither back into oblivion? We shall see.
I think he’ll become a very good player over the next year or two, I don’t see any reason he can’t push on from here.

Both Man United and Burnley have a free midweek the week beginning January 11 to play that match in hand. Still waiting on the Premier league to confirm when it will be played

A good or bad idea to play that Burnley game before playing Liverpool on the 17th of January?

If there's a free week, I think it should be played. Better than trying to fit it in when we have Europa League committments. Plus if we win it and also beat Villa and Wolves, we could be level or above them on points by the time we go there.

A bad idea. Anfield is probably the toughest away ground to win at in Europe at the moment. We will need to be fresh if we have any chance of beating them. They're just too good at home - giving them an extra few days rest than us beforehand makes it extremely difficult for us.

Wolves is just in major transition. Jota, Matt Doherty and unforeseen injury to Jimenez is too much quality to lose all in one go particularly as they're asking inexperienced players to fill the void. Not sure about them playing 4 atb either.

Still good to take points off the top teams though.
Don’t forget the Jonny injury. Also the fact their main creators (Traore/Podence) don’t score many goals it’s a problem. They are worse defensively, I may get it totally wrong but I think United will beat them easily.

Well Liverpool lost 2 pts at home against WBA. So Ole has put us in contention so far. We do need a bit more results but as long as we stay within the 3 pts reach, we should play it without fear. The battle is mostly psychological anyway for our team, young players, not used to transcend themselves to win no matter what yet.

2 points dropped v Leicester hurts more now.
Yeah I can definitely see both sides of this especially when we led twice, however if you had told me Liverpool would fail to take advantage of us dropping points then would be satisfied to take a point out of the game but not happy obviously

Liverpool really have done well with how spaced out their games are, haven't they? Sunday, playing tomorrow, then not playing again till Monday night. Just basically a normal schedule for them.

Disappointed with Potter re: that lineup. Honestly don't understand what he's trying to do anymore.

Impressive stats from Bissouma. I’d love us to look at him if they get relegated. Could be a steal ala Idrissa Gueye.

Romaine Sawyers hit it blind from 20 yards back to his keeper... who wasn't in the goal

Leeds looked embarrassed, if anything.

Arsenal have pretty good shape in the game and Brighton have no imagination in the final third.
