It was amazing every time Grealish got the ball he just kicked him definitely was told to do it.
Probably nothing else he could do. I don't think there's a harder player in the country to get the ball off.

Dont see why Liverpool fans would panic.

They have arguablely best manager in the world,a transfer window to get in a CB and Tiago back to play the long passes that they are missing without VVD. They are strong favourites.

I think our lack of pre-season and subsequent bad early results was unfortunate. If we had another 5-6 points on the board going to Anfield we could have had them under real pressure.

I’d fancy Villa to comfortably beat Liverpool again if they played right now. Shame Wolves completely rolled over for them.

Shame we've got to wait till Monday to see if Southampton can get anything against Liverpool. Although it seems Southampton are playing a bit too well to get anything from that game, seems the Scousers prefer to drop points against the bottom teams instead.

What I'm saying is they'll win 9-0.

2: don't underestimate City and their 2 games in hand.
City need to be judged based on their level. They’re a notch or two below United this season in my opinion. Plus they go to Chelsea tomorrow with a number of players unavailable due to Covid. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them drop points.

Why are you defending Moyes?
He picked up a team of champions and took them 7th.

Both Jose and LVG dealt with the aftermath of Moyes nonsense and both won trophies here.
If you read my first post you would see why. Nothing to do with Manchester United. But what he is doing at West Ham.

They play in the cup soon. But clearly that'll be the usual insult the cup outfit Klopp insists on.

Seems we're clearly the winners during festive season. Somehow lucky, but still.

I'd expect the football quality to improve in the coming weeks, although January is thick with games so not sure if that'll happen.

Hope Leeds embarrass Tottenham today. Mourinho's meltdown has to start soon.
It’s a game Mou will be desperate to win, especially since Bielsa is King of the Poets. I think it’ll be an absolutely fascinating game with two polar opposite views on how to play the game and win.

Reckon Spurs can get joy counter attacking like we did and Leeds will be punished. That being said, if Leeds score first....

Soon find out when they play in the Cup.

Thing is they need that overwhelming style to pay dividends early then teams tend to fold. Hold on and defend well and a draw is a real possibility. Going to gung ho against them, leaves gaps down the flanks. Liverpool's FBs are far more progressive than ours.

Personally I'm not seeing a 'comfortable' win by Villa

I'd forgotten about the cup game. Klopp isn't interested in the FA Cup though, he'll throw that match as usual, so it won't be an accurate account of a matchup.

Interesting one. He knows his best chance is in the UCL and PL so could field a changed side. Didn’t they get battered here in the League Cup last season? Villa went to the semi quite easily IIRC.

Villa will be realistic however and see this as a great opp to progress

It is me doing it (waiting for my team to play).

And no, there is nothing worse. Nothing at all.
You should try winning on a Friday night, then you can sit back and freeroll your rivals losing where just 1 dropped point is a bonus.
Much more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I can definitely feel your pain. Playing PL matches on sundays is easily the worst part about dropping down to the Europa League.

Jose v Bielsa.

I feel there is the potential for a new Jose v Wenger type feud here.
Doubt it. Jose has beaten him every time and there’s no feud. He says he’s a good coach. The Wenger thing was over the fawning the media gave Wenger even when he’d failed to win the PL. I don’t think he sees Bielsa as a specialist in failure
