Werner kicking the flag trying to take the short corner?!
That can't be rightInteresting. Klopp’s always been quite particular about personalities.
So apparently Aguero hasn’t scored in the league for almost 12 months.I find that incredible.
Maybe but we can only judge Werner on what he’s offering at Chelsea. Would’ve been interesting to see where Klopp would’ve played him. Probably as a number 9 instead of Firmino. You don’t know that Klopp wouldn’t have got him peaking. Jota to Chelsea could have looked just as poor.
I wouldn’t write Werner off, either. I suspect come next season he’ll have a world class manager with him at Chelsea, he could be a different animal 6-12 months down the line
Eh?Interesting. Klopp’s always been quite particular about personalities.

I’m watching on DAZN and Peter Drury just said that was the case. That can't be right
Because that's the rules. Why did they let them retake the corner? Werner shat the bed and kicked the flag but the ball was kicked and went to another player.
100% always a risk when you buy that many players.Have Chelsea bought too many players that don't have experience in this league?
Satire? They won the first half, we won the second.
A point each seems the only reasonable outcome.
21st January 2020 away to Sheffield United was his last Premier League goal.
I agree, Pep had his own little winter mini-break.The postponement of the previous City game worked in their favour. I bet many coaches would have preferred to have that privilege.
Blimey.21st January 2020 away to Sheffield United was his last Premier League goal.
Amazing. Doesn’t sound right to me either.21st January 2020 away to Sheffield United was his last Premier League goal.
This for the most part has not been true this seasonThis! City wont get this amount of space against anyone else. Chelsea were delusional thinking they were going to play toe to toe. Just counter City with your fast attackers and you win. Imagine trying to play possession football with kante in the middle.
Jesus.21st January 2020 away to Sheffield United was his last Premier League goal.
Yup in fairness he's had about 4 starts all while crocked in 2020. I think he's scored 1 goal in all comps in the last 10 months, when he came on as a sub a couple of weeks ago before he got crocked again. He had 16 in 24 before last January then he done his knee and has been out since. Says he has 2 goals in 8 apps this season but I only recall the one.@padr81 is it right that Aguero hasn’t scored a league goal since January 2020?
Excuses in early?Might get you in another cup final though yeah?
Blimey.
Since then he's played in 11 Premier League matches for a total of 486 mins (6 starts).Amazing. Doesn’t sound right to me either.
They may get their chance sooner rather than later with how rapidly the virus is spreading right now.The postponement of the previous City game worked in their favour. I bet many coaches would have preferred to have that privilege.
I wouldn't be so confident in us, Ole is like kryptonite to Pep.Excuses in early?
Yeah seems like he’s getting on a bit and injuries are catching up. He’s been phenomenal for you. One of the Premier League’s best ever. I won’t miss him scoring against us every time we play you at the Etihad.Yup in fairness he's had about 4 starts all while crocked in 2020. He'll be off in the summer, will still score goals where he goes but he's not able for the rigors of the PL anymore.
If you kick the corner flag you retake the corner? Never knew that.Because that's the rules.
For sure, he's always been injury prone, think it comes from super short hamstrings or something. One of those things that can't be fixed and add in the wear and tear of many years in the PL and playing top level football since 17 and I think the recoveries take too long now. For me only Henry comes above him in terms of the PL strikers even though there are arguments for Rooney and Shearer too. His goals per minute will likely never be matched or beaten, even Harry Kane or Salah haven't reached it, which is strange as they score so many more.Yeah seems like he’s getting on a bit and injuries are catching up. Live and learn! If you kick the corner flag you retake the corner? Never knew that.
They’ll make changes so will weWorst outcome, Chelsea didn't even tire City. Hopefully the semi final will be a much more competitive game.
It 1000% will be. Ole won't have one player defending the counter from corners or be nearly as naive. Plus you guys if you play your best XI are currently above Chelsea quality wise.Worst outcome, Chelsea didn't even tire City. Hopefully the semi final will be a much more competitive game.
