The lack of ability of some Premier League footballers is remarkable.

Mount gives me Lingard/Pereira vibes. Mount might be better than those two but similar idea of being ultimately ineffective. Not good enough creatively imo. What do you guys think?

looked like a yellow as I saw it happen. knew it going to be a red after the reaction from the Chelsea player.

It's a silly red. But I'd honestly send Azpilicueta off as well for the reaction.

Oooh, that's a soft red for me.
He was going in to block the ball, not reckless intent.
Maybe out of control?
That's soft for me.

Yep. he didnt catch him with the foot he lunged with.. It was contact with the trailing foot..
red seems excessive. VAR didnt overturn.. Fulham fecked.

Am I missing something there? yes he’s flown in but his stood aren’t even up.

it’s a late, aggressive challenge but never a red.

Azpilicueta is like Ander Herrera with his reactions

Red card for that? Luke Shaw's follow through was worse than that.

Never a red, Chelsea should sack Lampard and hire Parker, he’s got this Fulham team playing good ball, it would be interesting to see what he could do with more resources around him.

Mount is a decent player, but it's his workrate that sets him apart and makes him look better than he actually is.
Works very hard consistently throughout the game.

Commentators going on about excessive force but how can they judge that? It only looks excessive when the defender is jumping in the air away from the tackle

I think a straight red for that is pretty harsh.

The Chelsea player screaming as if he'd had his leg ripped off probably contributed to the red.

Either way, it's moronic from the Fulham player. You fly in to a challenge like that and you give the ref the chance to send you off, was no need for it. Chelsea were going nowhere
