Thought he was one of, if not the best players of our side today. Seemed up for it and played with a good intensity.

Cool and composed, solid defensively and offered plenty going forward. Great to see him looking a force once more. Man of the match for me.

We will see tomorrow so how great a player he is.

The way your posting hes one of the best full backs in the league or even Europe and hes far from it. Your opinion is right and everyone else's is wrong.

Tomorrow will be interesting. Your opinion is actually worthless as your not backing up anything you say. Have a look at his performances against PSG and Lipezig and come back.

You actually think positioning is one of Shaws strong points. I find that hilarious. He was shocking against city and the same will probably happen tomorrow
This aged poorly already.

He’s been really good for a few seasons now just injury prone. I’m glad to see him getting the plaudits. He’s done very well to come back from that injury and become one of the best full backs in the league. If he could add some attacking returns then we are laughing.

Shaw was the best player in our team, second only to Maguire and Fabinho on the pitch, defensively speaking. Basically flawless game. My MOTM. Really loved his spirit and focus was spot on all game.

Been our most consistent performer this season. I just expect performances like today from him.

I’m not really his biggest fan but he was really really good today, deserves all the praise and his MOTM award too. He is obviously a very good, technically gifted and smart player with great positional sense too.

Because of this I almost feel like he’s a bit wasted at left back, could he play elsewhere do we think?

I really wish sometimes we would try him in midfield but it would take time for him to learn the position.

I like this ashawed performace of his, now forgive me I just wanted to praise a player after a very disappointing game full of underperformers. Should sign Telles kind of player for every position including Rashford's and Bruno's.

Been very impressed for quite a few weeks now.

Does seem like the Telles signing has really got him to focus.

Fantastic performance from him today. Motm for me! He's on a run now. Can't help thinking about how Mourinho belittled him in the media. Hope he saw that game. Prat!

Colossal performance, some fantastic defending, driving runs with the ball and he created our best chance.

Well then? Did you see the match today?
Yep nearly gave away two goals. Misplaced a pass and Liverpool were nearly in. Turned his back to trents Cross another one. A liability. One good cross all game for Bruno. I give him that. That's tge only cross he made all game.

Imagine if we had a full back who could both attack and defend

There a reason hes not in the England squad and only has 8 caps. He makes mistakes too often.

He's been really good of late, I wonder if it is bringing in competition but whatever it is it's really good to see and hopefully he can keep it up.

I will add, what i thoroughly enjoyed today was seeing the Shaw we saw when he emerged.
Running with the ball, close control, making good decisions and driving the play but crucially, doing this at the right times across the pitch and through the thirds and down channels.

Man of the match. Not only was he solid in defense, he was also a big part of our best chance of the game, the one Bruno didn't convert.

Man of the match for me. He was very good both attacking and defending. His attacking game has improved so much, his composure in the box was very good too.

I think it's more a case of a player entering his prime after losing some years due to leg break, fitness issues, and shit management.
