I just don’t understand their mentality. If you head over to RAWK, it’s just page after page of “they would be mid-table without penalties”, “not one of their first choice defenders gets into our second choice CB line-up”, “they are an average side who have had an unbelievably lucky run” etc..

Sure, you get that kind of bollocks on any fan forum but you also get at least some “voice of reason” posts. Not on RAWK. Not one poster pointing out that we’ve been statistically the best team in the league 28 games now.

We might not be a “great” side but we are definitely a “good” side at least!
Tbf not exactly a RAWK problem that things are either class or shite.

Their hate for Luke Shaw is bizarre. He’s such a low key player.

Such is RAWK , so contradictory in it's nature where the forum is split into 2 polar opposite views, and any common sense is thrown out the window in favour of pure hyperbole.
I can't even begin to imagine how lockdown has affected that lot.

They realise even if they beat us we're level on points? Like even if they win, it's not as if the race is over or anything.

Favourite scouser on Facebook: Footballer is corrupt because they kept blowing for offside when Liverpool win back possession.

No mention of Fabinho's 4 yellow cards.

Imagine a third division side having the 2 best chances at Anfield.

DDG probably had his easiest game away from home in his Old Trafford career - perhaps they should worry more about that, than us ? :)

83. Pogba gets a lucky bounce and shoots from about six yards out. The best keeper in the world is there to push it behind for a corner. Corner comes in and he makes another unbelievable save at the feet of Rashford. He’s offside but Ali didn’t know.
Gary Neville “Liverpool are there for the taking”

I mean, who knows how this match ends, but that’s unutterable shite.
cant score to save our lives
Will we ever score a goal again?
We have forgotten how to attack.
We dominated the game, but were not the most dangerous side.
Happy with the point.
A point is fair enough...maybe.
Awful. Very disappointing. We're in trouble at this rate.
I thought we looked knackered second half. Around 60 minutes or so I could visibly see the body language start to change in the players.
What a terrible game. We did absolutely nothing to win it and they had the better chances
You would think we had Lambert and Benteke up top, goals completely dried up.
Awful going forward again. Jeez even Man Utd had the better chances
Seven scoreless halves of football in a row. United had the better chances in this game which says it all. What's the fecking point of dominating games if you're not even going to work the opposing keeper into a save. It’s just not good enough at the moment for where we want to be. I think we may just need to re-adjust our expectations for this season.
pretty dreadful second half, offered nothing and lucky not to lose in the end. Luckily we have the best goalie to ever play the sport.
Bit worried about this team, not sure if it's just tiredness or we've suffered what every great team does and goes stale.
A bit frustrating, but given the respective forms coming into the game, it's not the worst result.
bus parking c*nts.
we didn't put them under nearly enough pressure though.

Really struggling to create anything clearcut, think being understandably deeper with the cb situation is costing us
Could’ve played until midnight and not found a goal. Awful stodgy far ages barring the Palace game and playing against sixth formers. Work to do and a lot of it. Firmino really, really poor.
We literally couldn't score in a brothel right now.
3 games without scoring, not sure what happened after scoring 7 against Palace. A draw is fine with the form they were in and with us struggling. But we will need to step up massively or City will run away with it.
A draw was fair I'd say. United had the better chances (Bruno and Pogba). While we dominated the play, but in truth was very huff and puff.
Big fan of 6'4, 16 stone Harry Maguire falling to the floor without contact and getting free-kicks for it. fecking amazing really.
Just be thankful we have Ali in goal, because that could have been a lot worse. Pretty grim viewing though, we need a spark from somewhere. Solid at the back mind you, the patchwork defence is holding together well.
Luke Shaw schooling Salah tells you all you need to know about his form.
Bring me Haaland over a centre back
Salah and Mane have dropped off a cliff since getting Covid
United created the better chances, so we were lucky to get a point. We are gonna need a lot of luck to win this title
Could play another 90 minutes and not score. 0 goals in 3 games now. Shocking stuff.
4 games without a win, we have to improve or we'll continue to go backwards.
Hope we score again soon

With all the crosses they're putting in they'd probably be better off with Lambert and/or Benteke in there.

As bent as it gets from the referee.
Everytime we broke he found a way (for or against) to stop us in our tracks
Each time they went down he gave the decision
I lost count of the timewasting by them
One of those games where the ref hasn't done anything 'newsworthy' yet fecked us at every step
That pass when we broke at the end of the first half and he blew 5 seconds early summed it up. Cheating Manc c*nt.
Helter skelter football.
That's what this season is. Not just us either.
Another dire performance. We need a CB. We know that. But our front lads have fallen off a cliff. Clinging on to a 0-0 ffs. Averaging less than 2 points a game over out last 32 games. How do you fall off a cliff so far from winning 37 and drawing 1 of 38 games to being a 72-75 point team? Serious issues. Top 4 a slog at this rate.
We need some of Peles viagra, limp performance infront of goal, 4th league game in a row we’ve not really looked like scoring.
Tbf, Shaw has been in very good recently. Hes a decent left back when he sheds the pounds.
I'll take that. At least they didn't get a scummy, totally undeserved penalty.
This past year has played havoc on all teams, it's just hitting us harder because of the level we've fallen from.
Stupid game. We could and should have won. So many chances to score. 3 games in the league now without scoring, we really need to improve our finishing.
Good that Klopp brought useless Firmino off and replaced him with Origi, was 85 mins too late thou. Squandered so many chances to score.
Can't wait till an actual goal scoring threat comes back (Jota).
fecking shite, lucky to get a point. Created almost nothing and whenever we got a shot off it was weak and either off target or straight at the keeper.
I presume we were happy with the point, because yet again we made those INFURIATING subs with a few minutes to go. Essentially wasting what little time we have left.
the pointless crossing is doing my head in
Another turd game. Not through too much fault of our own, just wasn't great and a draw at 0-0 is probably a fair result.
Great result for City, who really have to be fancied to win this title comfortably at the minute
Bye bye league
Why are we so shit going forward now?? Proud of fab and hendo, defensively played alright. But forward we are dreadful
Shit game..we can talk about the officials till the cows come home but the reality is the front line are completely toothless with terrible service from the full backs..
More points pissed away - we never looked like scoring. They were unlucky not to nick it down the stretch.

To be fair a lot of the comments on RAWK seem to indicate that they are grateful not to have lost, and that we deserved it. Narrative has changed quite a lot.

Salah was absolute shite tonight. As was Trent. Credit to Ali, Fab, Hendo & Thiago.
But fecking hell get it together the draws are fecking killing us.
Two shit teams. City will be very encouraged watching that.
They're in amazing form and still couldn't beat our B team defence. Think that says a lot.
Not the worst of performances. Alisson and Thiago are excellent.
The front three really aren't clicking atm.
We've got Burnley next. Wonder what score that'll be.
I hope we score a goal one of these days.
0-0 is fine, just need to stay in the hunt as they work through this poor form.
We havent played well since battering palace. We'll come out of it. Eventually. Hopefully Burnley on thursday
Predictable,tame match.
Klopp gave up winning the match when he subbed Milner.
Trent needs to take a hard look at himself very poor lazy performance.
Klopp needs a new plan front 3 worked for a couple of seasons now change is needed.
5 hours and 40 odd minutes without a goal in the Premier League...against West Brom, Newcastle, Southampton and a shonky Manchester United. And at no point in that period have we really looked like scoring. That’s is nowhere near good enough.
Not much to say about that. Utd played the dogshit way we knew they would and we had no ideas.
I'm annoyed we didn't win against this shite
But Henderson was brilliant. As Liverpool captain to step up and play against these feckers as a central defender alongside another midfielder takes balls of steel
Very worrying that Salah keeps getting out muscled, seems to have lost his strength and quick thinking to get into really tight spots in the box - both of which made him such a lethal forward for us. We are just too predictable going forward and have lost our belief in the final third.
This is like the old January’s.
I remember one under Thommo where we basically didn’t score between Christmas and valentines that cost us the league!
We're still doing ton of stuff well but God knows why we look so bereft of ideas in the final third - guess mental exhaustion after two incredibly intense seasons.
Jota has covered a lot of cracks early on in the season, we need him back badly.
Salah one on one with Shaw in the box, stops and passes backwards. WTF is he a clone?
Think that's... 14 points in the last 9 games. I don't know what the solution is but trust Klopp to find it
Circumstances have just conspired to make us look absolutely cooked 14 games into the season, and I don't see how we get back into title-winning form quickly enough. West Brom game was much more of an indicator than an outlier as it turns out.
Forward play has gone to shite.1 goal in the last 4 games FFS.
sell Salah & get someone new in. Jota was a breathe of fresh air. Need another injection in the summer
Second half was really disappointing but overall it isn’t the absolute worst result.
But gutted as I had dreams of twatting them and tonight being paradise but all things being equal it wasn’t that bad.
U
nited finished the stronger and at the end relieved we drew. Practically 4 league games without a goal is a bit worrying. Need to win on Thursday but Burnley will be tough
Big thanks to Tepid, BP3, Jill and Rushie for the commentary. Today the internet was as hard to find as a clitoris.

NBC? C*nts. Peacock? C*nts. Mancs? C*nts. Paul Tierney? feck you, Salford c*nt.

We go again. YAWN

Well they are used to last season and the luckiest run with injuries and decisions the league has ever seen.

Twice as much possession from us.

Nearly three times as many fouls given against us.
Incredible. The one that pissed me off the most was on Thiago when they went on for a shot in 2nd half. Blatant as it gets, ref and Lino both looking.
A quick reminder that Steve McManaman is still a twat.
That's all.
people in here are seriously underestimating the lack of crowds and the psychological effects it has on our team. This isn't a normal season. Relax and just take it for what it is. You don't go from the side we were to being shit overnight. There's some problems there, but all it takes is one or two players to pull themselves up to par and we'll be fine. It's tiny margins. Only a matter of time.
One goal in 360 minutes. Madness.

What has happened to the forwards? Firmino can only press and play a ball to someone in acers of space. Miles off of it.
Salah and Mane refuse to take someone on. RUN AT SOMEONE! DO SOMETHING!
We are still miles better than that United side, but were lucky to get a point.
What has happened to our energy / conditioning?
We looked gassed after 60 against a team that played midweek ... alarming
Tierney giddily blowing his whistle in favour of them at a rate Andre Marriner would be proud of.
People need to be realistic. YES - we’ve had dodgy decisions, but in all reality we have not played well for large periods of this season. Yes we are probably the best team, but we are now in a scrap for 4th, the table does not lie
Hello, Micah. Or is it Alan?
Am a right in reading we have scored once from our last 63 shots going back to West brom?
It's Man Utd, been like that for years, one team playing a contact sport, the other team not allowed to get close.
Law of averages got to come into play now.
1 point better than none.
There's no intensity from us. It's got to be the lack of crowd. Surely
It's like a training session week in week out
Average of 1.6 points from our last 15 games .
We’re in a proper rut now.
A draw against Utd isn't necessarily a bad result. It's the way in which we're playing recently which is a huge concern.
United didn’t have much of the ball but they had a couple of decent chances whereas for all our possession we did practically nothing.
Since Salah done that interview with the Spanish paper, his form has fell off a cliff and so has the full team.
3 pts from 12 kisses goodbye to the league. We are in big danger of missing top 4. Best players were playing out of position says a lot that.
Look at the league table again and tell me we're out of it.
feckin' idiots everywhere this season on here. I wonder why?
It's amazing the number of times their players were feigning injury as well. I counted Martial, Fernandes, McTominay and Shaw all go down and waste time both in the first half and the second.

Shithouses.
There was 3 and a half minutes between McTominay pretended he was dead and Fernandes finally being substituted.
Is it too late to go back to Melwood? We've been shite since we moved!!! What the F**k are they doing at AXA? Beach volleyball?

We are more predictable and teams have found ways to combat us defensively. 350 Minutes since our last goal is the issue.
Some suggested that we needed to recycle the team last summer. It does start to look like that is indeed the case.
Thiago and Jota were part of that . Both have missed big chunks, to say nothing of the defence situation.
Watching Hendo's interview just feels like the belief has gone from the team. They don't look like they believe they will eventually score and won't put that extra bit on the line to try and score. There were a number of times where it didnt feel that they were busting a gut to get to the ball ahead of a utd defender.
Trent looks lethargic and really sloppy, is it just bad for or has he got something going on?
Does anyone wonder if the famous attacking trios time is coming to an end?
All good things have to come to an end, and in the world of football and it's rapid pace, three years at the elite of performance is quite a long time. It's hard to maintain that level of performance as a group.
I'm just so tired of everything about this season.

City are going to cruise to the title. Our fecking title.
Would be tempted if I was in Klopp's shoes to tell them that our season starts now. We've had a nice break here and there between a few games and should be fit, a bit refreshed and free to attack rest of the season. Just need to chuck everything at Burnley, get that win, hopefully a goal/assist for a few of the players that aren't firing and build from there.
Was important not to lose this game.
Bitterly disappointed. We didn’t really lay a glove on them in the entire second half.Massive ask to win the league from here. We can’t seem to be able to score for love nor money. Gradually coming around to the idea that it is likely not going to happen this season. Just too many problems all over the place to put any sort of winning run together. Extremely deflated.
We can't really get away with playing 2 and sometimes 1 starting midfielders in defence for nearly 38 games. Midfielders who make a huge difference in midfield when they play. If I was the director of football I'd be trying to do what's best for the club. Get a couple of defenders in, free up the midfield and let's get going. We can't even use tiredness as an excuse as we haven't shown any intensity since mid February last year when we lost 3 games in 2 weeks and have coasted along since Leicester away in December 2 years ago. There's no way out of this unless new players come in.
Our title defence is death by a thousand cuts.
Not everyone has low standards. We have the best manager and one of the best squads in the world. We can expect more that what we are getting. Really don't get the shrug of the shoulders.
Indeed, we are Liverpool FC!
If City, Everton and Villa win their games in hand, we're in 6th.

Granted Villa would have to win 3, but still, it's sobering.
VVD is our best player

He transforms how we play so without him it impacts loads of things
Yes, but his last full game was a 7-2 defeat. It's not that straightforward.
Continue with the form over the last 15 games and we will end up on around 68-72 points
The front 3 are predictable as sunrise.
Not scoring is a bigger problem than the result today.
Thank God for Alisson
At least the snookers on.

I can't believe they're accepting they were second best and we deserved to win. Our post match thread feels like it's mostly scousers in there moaning about the tactics.

It’s not a bad result in itself, but bad in combination with our recent points dropped. The front three need to figure out how to fecking score. Firmino and Salah look clueless right now.
We just have too many players who are off form at the same time. We did some good things but it all fell apart in the final moments.
He was right in what he said,we were the better side and deserved the 3pts.
Thiago was boss, tired a bit in the 2nd half but that's to be expected until he gets his match fitness back.
Did we really though? I don't remember De Gea having a save of note to make. Alisson had to make two excellent saves from Fernandes and Pogba. We had less shots on target than them.
DeGea had to make a decent save fro Thiago in 2nd half.
Considering we are in a rut, and they are the world's best football team, a point isn't the worst result.
Just heard the Sly Sports News report on Absolute Radio there, complete with interview from Gollum, with their report focusing on the "heroism" of Alisson, preventing the "league leaders" leaving with a deserved 3 points, with Gollum following up in his faux Manc accent speaking of his disappointment at only one point, nothing from Liverpool, no interview from Klopp, players or a mention of the dominance of possession etc, as close to propaganda as you'll hear in mainstream sports media, it's fecking nauseating.
Do yourself a favour and don't listen to it. Sky has always been Man United TV they are not going to change now. I only watch the actual games now switch off the build up and the after match stuff. They have such poor quality among their pundits it's like pulling your nails out.
It's Jan 2017 all over again.
That was time wasting Mourinho would have been proud of. 1 min added in the first half (54 seconds played) and 3 minutes in the second
From the first minute they took 15-20 seconds for every throw and goals kicks took an age.

Not an excuse but it tells you what they are.
It's true, the front three will be firing cylinders again and may very well put in another Palace type performance. However, what we're not getting is that consistency from them, and that was evident prior to Palace. And that's what we need to win another league or European Cup. It's the bare minimum requirement of a top trophy winning side.
Like a great songwriter past their ultimate peak, moments of genius will be everlasting and you'll see it hear and there with a few golden nuggets on the album. But it's not great album after another anymore.
This may be the front three trios Bruce Springsteen 1990s phase.
Feels more like 80's Genesis to me.
6 wins from our last 15 league games.
God we need our fans back in that stadium
Jurgen post match presser.
We know we haven't been scoring. It's about creating situations. We'ven doing that. You have to be ready to try and fail, then try again. It's not like we don't work on it.
Burnley is next. We don't suddenly decide this match we score.
United fans will say that they probably deserved to win as they defended well and their keeper had one shot from distance to deal with that was pretty much straight at him and then missed two very good opportunities at the other end due to good saves from Alisson, one from point blank range.
A draw was probably the fair result and I'm not sure we deserved to win that.
I couldn't give a flying feck what those 6 fingered sister shaggers think.
We miss the fans in matches like that
Lads, we got a point against a rival right? Not like we lost is it?
It's humanely impossible to maintain 95+ pts level for a 3rd year in a row even with refreshments like the players we brought in last summer.
City couldn't do it with all their resources, there is a reason for it - mainly it's impossible to maintain that hunger.
We'll be back next season much healthier and hungrier
... Portugese Jonjo Shelvey :houllier:
Just like to add what a fecking repulsive little twat Fernandes is.
Shown up by Thiago today
Didn't even realise Fernandes was playing till he got subbed off.
For which he should have had a yellow card...
Sulking all the way off. Moany little prick
Did he book any of their players today? He had no interest in doing that despite a couple of our players getting caught by the cloggers.
Fernandes is bang average, seriously, this narrative that he's transformed them from shite into this elite outfit is laughable, he's probably the biggest cheat in the league, he got a penalty for stamping on an opposition player, let's not forget.
It's indicative of their entire squad, and their league position belies the problems within it. People gurning about our performance today should note that we passed them to death in that first half, but were below our usual high standards. When they crash, they're going to crash hard. It's just a matter of time.
The longer the narrative that he's the great saviour and best midfielder in the world continues, the better.
He's a bang average player who spends more time focusing on playing up to the ref and shouting about to look like a 'leader' than he does on actually playing football.
Portuguese Jonjo Shelvey with added penalties
Fernandes is not bang average, he's a very good player. He'd play in our current midfield ahead of Shaq even, but won't find room when Thiago, Fabinho, Keita and Gini are all fit.
And he's a cheat, but I don't know if he's the biggest one, not even in his own team. Martial, Pogba, Lamella, Kane and others might have something to say about that.
Nauseating hearing the Bruno does this,Bruno does that and he did nothing all game. Ended up watching on mute.
I had the misfortune of having to switch channels a few times today, Tyler and Neville and Beglin on the other. I know Fernandes has been a good signing for them but Jesus they don't half go overboard. Beglin even said that he asks the question a lot but no one can answer. I was expecting a real corker but it was - Name a player who has came to the Premier League and had a impact right away like Fernandes. He must ask the question to his dog or cat.
Or maybe Salah, Alisson, De Bruyne, Suarez, Kante, Aubameyang, or back a little further Torres, David Silva, Hazard among many others don't count
Particularly ridiculous today as he went completely missing. In a big game. Again
Even their own fans are saying that
I was thinking that during the game. Completely useless for someone who gets called 'world class'.
Better than de Bruyne. No really. They’re saying that
Yep. 1 or 2 weak shots but when there's no penalty there's no headlines,
I don't watch much of them but from what I've heard he has been poor for a few games now, Doesn't stop him and a few others in their team falling over when you breathe on them like

Could have been worse. We need to
1. Beat Burnley
2. Knock united out of the cup.
3. Get matip keita and jota back
4. Get our belief back

In particular order
Interesting that the media are not picking on their darlings to question the difference between their "form" in the league versus that in Europe. The difference points solely to the referees, United's "performances" in the PL are actually referees' performances. Without those they woudnn't be in the top four even, let alone top of the table.
They’re top of the table and haven’t beaten us, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or Leicester.
They won’t be top for long
Would like to know what the score would’ve been if we’d played the full 94mins with included injury time
0-0 mate. We don’t look like scoring at all.
We haven't one in the Prem since I put the new LFC headcover on my driver that my daughter bought me for Christmas.

Is it my fault?
Probably...not like you are going to be playing many rounds at the moment. Sacrifice!
United fans saying they were the better team
After 30 mins
How the feck can you be the better team when you’ve never got the ball. played the entire game on the counter And had 2 decent chances with a little 5 minute flurry 80-85th min.
Well, at least the better team did not lose.
100% true regardless.
On our worst run in three seasons and playing two central midfielders at centre back and they still came and played like a Fat Sam team. They were fecking shite.
I just love who they are now
Celebrating being top on the 16th game
Well if they shut their eyes and just listened to Gary Neville on Sky, one might believe it....look, i know he's a manc, and asking him to be impartial might be challenging, but feck me - he's paid millions a year to "observe" but it was MUTV in full force....
It was Trump'esq! - Lets not be clowns here, we fecking owned this game, completely controlled it.....but failed to break them down. That's the story.
I mute
Have done for quite a while now
Two arseholes him and carra
We genuinely used up all our goals for the last few games against Palace.
Klopp said something like he’d rather win 7 games 1-0 rather than one game 7-0. We understood at the time. He doesn’t need to drive home the point!

Let them big themselves up and get carried away. Average team riding some good fortune and favourable decisions.
The BBC combined team is in and Pogba and Maguire are in. Imagine sitting down and thinking about it and selecting them
Well, they had to pick someone, and they picked the most expensive ones. In reality, no Man Utd player would get into our starting XI ...
If Maguire was in our squad, he'd literally be 5th choice CB. No way he gets in ahead of Virgil, Gomez, Matip or Fabinho.
..
Fernandes is a petulant little fecker isnt he. i bet his team mates loves him.
Suarez was the same and nobody minded
And here we go. Demanding fair and equal treatment of Man Utd players on a Liverpool forum. feck's sake.

And anyway, Suarez was fecking boss, so he could be as petulent as he wanted - unlike this tit
Does that rat faced c*nt ever actually do anything when they don't get awarded penalties?

The way the media wank themselves stupid over him you'd think he was the 2nd coming of Maradona, more like the 2nd coming of Luke Chadwick, fecking dog of a footballer
Dog of a team, saw no difference between their performance today or West Brom's a few weeks ago.
West Brom scored

Fernandes is so overrated it's laughable.
Think it’s the first time I’ve watched him for 90 minutes. Yernited sides of the past have to come Anfield with some quality players and when they get the ball, you can sense the crowd get nervous; Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney to name but three. The way people go on about this fella you’d think it would be a similar fear. No, not a thing, looks a very ordinary player.
if you're Solskjaer you cant be happy with a player like Fernandes. has made a show of him on a couple of occasions. extremely disrespectful.
i wonder would they get rid if a decent offer came in,
My mate once trained his dog to fall over every time he'd whistle. Man Utd have trained their refs to whistle every time they fall over.
That bit at the start of the second half where Maguire was “shielding” the ball from Salah. He had no interest in the ball, he just kept backing into to Mo, who kept moving out of the way, until Maguire felt a touch and then fell over. He was about 6 yards away from the ball at that point, and right in front of the lino. Who, in a rational sport, would have done Maguire for obstruction but instead says he’s been fouled and flags for a free kick.

It’s just incredible what this game has become.
How many good runs have United gone on whilst Ole's been in charge? Quite a few if my memory serves me right. & they've always come unstuck with a lengthy poor run afterwards. Why will this be any different ? They still lack a strong mentality & they'll never have it whilst the Norwegian garden gnome is in charge.
They missed their best player today and got away with a point.
