I very actively hate this cnut. Even with Trump getting elected, and then getting 70 million votes even while losing, it's still completely unfathomable to me how a vile creature such as this could get a majority of people in a district to vote for her. I usually try to stay level-headed about voters who vote for demagogues and wannabe authoritarians, but there's no excuse here. These people are all terrible human beings.

She essentially ran unopposed - her opponent more or less quit during the campaign. It’s a mini scandal in itself, but you still have to ask how she won her primary.

Said it before, there are absolutely worthless parts of this country. NW Georgia is certainly one of them. It’s these worthless places, along with gerrymandering, that help to give the right a head start every two years in House elections.

To think that these worthless parts are redeemable politically is a pipe dream.

Some conservatives still going on about Hunter Biden laptop. To be honest, the laptop story completely bypassed me. What the hell was it even about?

He somehow managed to drop a laptop full of incriminating stuff off at a shop owned by a maga nut for repairs 1000 miles away from where he actually was. Nobody has seen the incriminating stuff cos they lost it or something, we should just believe them though.

The guy who repaired his laptop was also blind and couldn’t confirm if he would recognise Hunter Biden if he saw him again.

weirdest damn place I remember was southeast Bama, right above the panhandle. We would drive through it on our way to Destin. Confederate flags outnumbered American ones. By a lot.

Some other Confederidiots reaping what they sowed. Justice is done and I'm sure we'll see lots of weeping cnuts like these two in the coming months not sure how they went from white privilege to being stuck in jail.

Amazing, 13 years? For white Americans? Isn't it usually 2 or 3 suspended for being very naughty?

I'm impressed that justice in this case was actually served.

They had no other option, if they want to avoid this repeating again. These feckwits really believed nothing is going to happen to them.

This is why they were crying. Not because they were remorseful but because they were in shock.
They thought nothing would happen.

Guessing being in the vicinity of weapons made this a much graver crime. I feel for her children, possibly going to the state now unless family assumes custody which is probable. That said, getting her children out of that hate filled environment is the best thing for their futures, assuming they're not simply going to another hate filled environment (another probable scenario in rural America).

"...that's not me!"

Uh, yeah... yeah it is hun. Bless your heart.
As a (since departed) transplant to the South I never understood the attachment to confederate imagery (statues/flags/etc.). For God's sake, Alabama celebrated Jefferson Davis day ON MLK day! As I mentioned above, driving through SE Bama and into the panhandle the number of Confederate flags dwarfed the American flags. Without fail the houses it flew from were dilapidated and the yards often filled with trash. It would be laughably stereotypical if it wasn't so troubling and sad.

Just a bunch of folks unhappy with their lot in life looking for someone else to blame other than themselves.
