It's kind of telling that everyone is getting better when they leave United. I have said it before and I say it again, and I think Michael Cox wrote an article on it, it's very little that differs most footballers at this level. It's all about a pattern of play, given the opportunity, confidence, and timing. I think his example was Pepe at Arsenal, how difficult it is to come in and make an impression in a non-functional team. I say we don't give enough credit to Bruno. Elite mentality. Not many can do what he does. Back to Lingard, really glad he's doing well. But as I said, he has a manager who trusts him, a fresh start, and his confidence back in a team that is doing well. That's all some need. Maybe we can think about when we slatter the Evans, the Smalling, the Lukaku next time.
