Absolutely no surprise that he's doing well. The way a lot of the negative nellys went on about him you'd think he wasn't good enough for the championship.
Until VDB goes on loan and stats scoring doubles in the Champs league again.Better than VDB that's for sure.
No it's not for sure.Better than VDB that's for sure.
Maybe he isnt the RW we deserve, but the RW we need.Better than VDB that's for sure.
Because he was shit. He wasn’t ‘abused’ though. Happy he’s doing well but it’s a classic case of needing to impress. He was too comfortable here, in my opinion. So glad he's playing well.
Got dogs abuse here during the darkest time of his life
Was just thinking about that. People have this weird idea that not having financial worries somehow makes you immune to all the other stresses and anxieties in life.So glad he's playing well.

I don't agree. It definitely got personal, blaming his off field work etc without an appreciation for his off field personal troubles.Because he was shit. He wasn’t ‘abused’ though. Happy he’s doing well but it’s a classic case of needing to impress. He was too comfortable here, in my opinion.
Does show what Fergie saw in him.
Totally agree. He was torn apart for everything, his celebrations, his "childish" behaviour, his off field enterprise's, but hardly anyone acknowledged this side of his life which obviously hugely effected his game. Was just thinking about that. Having your (single) parent become sufficiently mentally ill that they need to be admitted to hospital is a grim ordeal for anyone. Even more so if that parent is the primary carer for school age siblings. The lack of sympathy Jesse got while he was going through this was pretty disgraceful IMO.
Maybe yeah. He did take the piss a bit though, during a time where we were performing the worst some of us have seen in our lifetime. Can only go off what you see. Doesn’t deserve personal abuse of course but do feel some of the stick was warranted.I don't agree. It was well over the top.
We're not getting £20m for him with 12 months left on his deal come summer. Probably get £8-10m plus £2-3m in add ons best. His stock will never be as high as it currently is. Sell him for £20m.
His on field play definitely left a lot to be desired since after the world Cup or so but it just didn't stop there which was unfair to him for what he was trying to deal with of the field.Maybe yeah. Hopefully he’s happy now though. Do like him.
Agreed, hopefully we might get even more than thatHis stock will never be as high as it currently is. Sell him for £20m.
We've always been a fanbase that are way too quick to turn on players unfortunately. I still don't think he's good enough to start for United but its great news for us that he is doing well there. A few clubs are going to want him now and we should get good moneyTotally agree. Oh neither do I. I think for him and us it's time to move on. He seems to be enjoying West ham and playing well, I think we need to sell. We've always been a fanbase that are way too quick to turn on players unfortunately. He needed to simplify his game. Jesse is at his best when he's working hard, making space for others, making efficient passes and taking shots from dangerous positions. His fortunes changed at united when he started playing like he was trying to add to the YouTube compilation videos and then when he was being less effective his confidence dropped.Poeple are ready to defend Ravel Morrison to death, but Lingard is free to be shat on.
I don't get it. Many footballers have different issues but its OK for some and not OK for others. Really happy for Lingard, I hope he can secure that move and go on and help West Ham for a european spot.
He really needed a change of scenery
This ibagree with 100%He's obviously good enough for the Manchester United squad. The problem is that there's a toxic section of United fans who aren't good enough for him.
