I said this a while back, when we were in our good form.
But it has felt like, since Fergie left, everything transpires against us. Potentially good signings flop. We get Woodward in charge. Previously good managers turn to shit and we hire them.
My fear a while back was that Ole was the latest twist of the knife. Hired a manager that isn't good enough, but has enough at his disposal to keep himself in a job. A sort of purgatory for us. Then once all the options are gone, that gave us hope that there was an alternative, we would all face the dawn of realisation that this is us. This is a good as it will get for a long time because now we have no option but to keep Ole. Feels like we're nearly there. Once Nagelsmann replaces Klopp at Liverpool, or something like that, the great dawn of despair is upon us.
