Actually Nostradamus
Genius or not, he is still an absolute cockwart.
A twat for sure. Twisted sense of humour, no doubt. Fairly unpleasant to be around, almost certainly. But also with a shot at being one of the major figures of the 21st century. That car, as also the model 3 has been planned by them for years. Anyone that thinks they only initially ever meant to make supercars is being very short sighted.
Anyway I find this thread rather strange. Elon Musk is obviously a pretty capable human being

Which is interesting given that he openly rejects the need for college and has removed needing a college degree from the Tesla hiring process. Two degrees, one in economics and another in physics.
That’s the way things seem to be going now. Loads of companies going down that route.Which is interesting given that he openly rejects the need for college and has removed needing a college degree from the Tesla hiring process.
Pretty smart of him if you ask meWhich is interesting given that he openly rejects the need for college and has removed needing a college degree from the Tesla hiring process.
I do agree that it may work in certain parts of tech and a few other areas but not in every line of work.Pretty smart of him if you ask me
Yeah you’re right losing ground isn’t the right term. They’ve been overtaken in Europe by the European EV makers. What he’s achieved with Tesla is very impressive but the figures you’re quoting are from Tesla-friendly sources that cherry pick. Maybe they will dominate the US market, but that’s not the direction they’re going in here. They’re doing a little better in China currently, but domination hardly looks on the cards there either. Hyperbole just follows him around. Its bound to lose ground given that it was pretty much the only show in town for years. Other companies are therefore going to gradually cut into its market share. Its still the leading EV maker in the world by a wide distance and I wouldn't expect that to change for a long time.
He isn't even the founder of Tesla. He's not? Electric cars and landing rockets, no? Digging tunnels..
He is legally allowed to call himself a co-founder. The two guys who actually incorporated the name in 03 did feck all until Musk invested millions, which in turn made him the head of the company. He isn't even the founder of Tesla.
They built the first Tesla and designed the drivetrain and propulsion until they ran out of money, but sure let’s believe Musk when he says they did feck all.He is legally allowed to call himself a co-founder. The two guys who actually incorporated the name in 03 did feck all until Musk invested millions, which in turn made him the head of the company.
Well, then..He isn't even the founder of Tesla.
If starship / falcon heavy works as intended - and it is worth reading what that thing is being built to do - then yeah, he probably will.
personally think Tesla is massively over valued and it’ll be the existing brands and automakers that will drive most electric mass market adoption but you have to give props to Tesla for getting it started IMO.Yeah you’re right losing ground isn’t the right term. It didn't though... If any car started the environmentally conscious personal transport trend it's the Toyota Prius.personally think Tesla is massively over valued and it’ll be the existing brands and automakers that will drive most electric mass market adoption but you have to give props to Tesla for getting it started IMO.
Fair point. It didn't though... If any car started the environmentally conscious personal transport trend it's the Toyota Prius.

Agree with both you and @That'sHernandez, in a way. The Prius popularised it for people who buy cars for practical reasons, the Tesla popularised for people who (can afford to) buy cars for aspirational reasons. Fewer people buy cars for aspirational reasons, but many more people take more notice of aspirational cars. Tesla clearly redefined the image of an electric car and expanded its horizons. Whether that was a natural next step is neither here nor there, from my perspective. Executing it is difficult and in this particular case, timing does count for a lot. it doesn't really matter whether someone developed a smartphone in 2000 or 2010, but it does matter for EVs. They moved the schedule forward and someone needed to.personally think Tesla is massively over valued and it’ll be the existing brands and automakers that will drive most electric mass market adoption but you have to give props to Tesla for getting it started IMO.

There's no way he actually messaged him that.

why not? he's completely off his rockerThere's no way he actually messaged him that.
Plus his eyes follow you around the room.If you removed the name from the image you could still tell it's him.
Great work, artist.
He has a wife you know...I for one am expecting big things from Biggus Diggus
That's not funny, he could have been injured in accident
