We're ranked 42nd in the world, they're ranked 98th.
Surprised we're that high, to be honest.

We wasted our best generations with managers who managed to convince the general public that our players weren't capable of playing football, all while the FAI acted like a bunch of cowboys who cared more about the suits than the players. Now we actually have a manager who wants to try to play but the quality of players has fallen off because grassroots football in this country is a joke. What on earth has happened to Irish football?
I think it started before the first lockdownHas this game been going on for 4 hours?
20 years of Delaney at the head of Irish football might be the reason, Dublin GAA taking a lot of the top class kids it’s all coincided with a 10 in a rowWhat on earth has happened to Irish football?
Between watching Munster get stuffed by a Leinster side in first gear and now this, today has been a crap day of sportI think it started before the first lockdown
Stephen Kelly, I think. He is awful to listen to as always.Who is the co-commentator? Sounds like he's 14.
John Delaney. What on earth has happened to Irish football?
This is maybe one of the most accurate depictions of Irish football. When I think of how talented the team was in the early 2000s and were stuck with Mick McCarthyWe wasted our best generations with managers who managed to convince the general public that our players weren't capable of playing football, all while the FAI acted like a bunch of cowboys who cared more about the suits than the players. Now we actually have a manager who wants to try to play but the quality of players has fallen off because grassroots football in this country is a joke.

The thing is, our underage teams have been quality over the last decade. And you’d expect them to decline first if the talent was being stifled by a recent decline in the domestic game. Plus our grass roots football and local academies were all a hell of a lot worse when the Keanes etc were coming through.20 years of Delaney at the head of Irish football might be the reason, Dublin GAA taking a lot of the top class kids it’s all coincided with a 10 in a row
I don't think that's really going to achieve anythingHas to be sacked at this stage.
I mean, probably not, but I almost believe thatMore proof we need proper investment in the Irish leagues. There are hurling players in Ireland that could have put this Luxembourg team away in a game of soccer.
We'll bring Mick backKenny is fecking shite but getting rid will do little to better things. The squad is just wank.
Honestly, it was tongue in cheek but I'm also not sure.I mean, probably not, but I almost believe that
Why ?Has to be sacked at this stage.
Sending a message that 10 games without a win is completely unacceptableI don't think that's really going to achieve anything
