Shaw is quite important to United and has really come on as an attacking force this season. Being in the Europa complicates it a little, so he may be rested at some stage.

TAA has come into ferocious form this last 3 league games, Liverpool have one heck of a run in, and will have to go all out just for the league now.
I watched him midweek, and he's looking very dangerous again.

I really can't split them to be honest. I'd get both, but I think TAA has a higher ceiling with his set pieces, and will definitely start all games if fit.
Liverpool aren't scoring many is one concern though.
Yeah I have avoided Shaw for too long. I think I made a big error getting Azpilicueta over Rudiger/Shaw. It used up too much of my budget for someone with limited attacking potential.

Cresswell may play is annoying since if he was 100% out I knew I would sell and if 100% fit I would keep.

Just remember that Kane has Sheff Utd in the week after the blank. You probably need to keep both for that one.
I am not since they both blank in 33 so one will have to go. I think I have been sold on getting Bruno for Son back, but he is so very expensive.

There are many more strikers I like right now than midfielders. I can't think of anyone I want apart from Bruno really and Salah/Lingard. Maybe Rashford or Greenwood, but they are just not as good as Bruno.

Small green arrow last week, but not quite enough to overcome the losses of the previous week. Auba and Lascelles were two duds on the wildcard. I think I will -4 them both out this week.

I have the exact money to bring in TAA and Rashford. Rashford had the midweek off, and will also have the next midweek off too. I'd like Salah, but think I prefer TAA and Rashford to Salah and Philips. I think I am captaining Kane this week and Bruno next week so the armband isn't really a factor. Difficult one though.

Looking at this for GW32:

Mendy
Trent Azpi Rudiger
Bruno Rashford Son (V) Jota Lingard
Kane (TC) Nacho

Sanchez, Bamford Dunk Dallas

In GW33, Sanchez will go in goal, while Dallas, Kane and Son will be benched.

So had 2 transfers already took out DCL and got Iheanacho.

Aubamayang to Son is pretty straightforward right?????

Any reason not to TC Kane this week? I know there are more doubles coming, but I still have my FH and obviously can’t use both on the same GW.

The only reason not to, is that if you watch the games you'll be cursing his ever misplaced pass, be infuriated he stays in the centre circle way too much, and generally looks like an utter carthorse. And every missed chance you'll be multiplying up the cost to your overall score.
That's the triple captain experience

I did have a little play with taking Bruno out for Greenwood to free up tonneloads of wad. But it's just too risky, as despite his current fairly moderate scoring run, he can very easily get a penalty from nothing, and that could suddenly bank him a double digit haul straight away.
Plus even when he's having an average game he'll be in and around the action.

Is Eric Dier likely to play for Spurs? He's been on my bench for ages.
That defence is a rotation minefield. Dier seems out of favour at the moment and Rodon seems to be current teachers pet. Still think they have too many CB options for my liking and with Davies still injured I went for Reguillon.

Yeah I think I go with Bruno. The big call now is if I should bring in Shaw for -4?

Cresswell probably soon back so selling him for a hit feels maybe not ideal.

I think long term Cresswell got better fixtures so could be worth holding even if I think we keep a clean sheet with Cresswell not playing.

If I had my TC and FH, I'd definitely use the TC on Kane this week. The only reason why I might be cautious is if Jose rotates in the 2nd game to prepare for the League Cup final but I think that is a pretty small risk with Kane.

Hahaha if I wasn’t a sucker for that kind of punishment I wouldn’t play FPL at all! Maybe I’ll hit it and try avoid watching their games.

Yeah thanks mate. My thoughts exactly. Feel like José will ride Kane until his ankles fall off that this point

I am going TC Kane too. Not sure what double we will get in the future.

Just guessing it will be a Leicester, City, Villa, Everton, Southampton and Palace in it.

I have had some lowsy past few weeks in terms of points, so taking the risk to use up the last bonus - Triple Captain on Kane.

I was thinking of using my wildcard but then another poster said that there is a double game week next week and I'm not too confident of Spurs away to Everton anyway.
I say use it for sure. Your team can work this week if Kane fails, but not having Kane is a huge gamble. You also have double City when they might rotate and Cresswell who might not play.

Worth taking a -4 for Lloris? and triple up on Spurs.
I did it with Pope out. Depend on your keepers I say.

If you have Henderson, Leno, Ederson, Mendy it might not be worth selling due to easy fixtures.

Also might cost a lot uppgrading cheaper keepers.

I've got Sanchez for Brighton and my back up is McCarthy who doesn't play any more.

I don't want to bring a Spurs defender because of Gameweek 33. I'd rather have Lloris as he doesn't affect the remaining 10.

Depends who your other keeper is.
And triple captain without a free hit means you have the awkward situation that all miss next week, but play Sheff Utd the week after.
If you have any City, or any cheapos/non nailed players, you could end up with 8/9 players

Yeah I think Mccarthy to Lloris is worth it. Particular if you like your team and do not need the money straight away.

Remember there aren't that many "easy" fixtures these days, Chelsea getting booted for 5 to Brom showed that, as did conceding last week too.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

Points to consider;
  • Two City defenders - Pep rotation, especially with league almost won but League Cup Final and Europe
  • Average goalie
  • Leeds players and a tough run in (though note City result)
  • Is Cresswell fit?
  • Look at fixtures lists - easiest are LFC, LCFC, Arse and Wolves. You have 2 of their players?
  • Burnley - average
  • Watkins sans Grealish (though again note he scored FINALLY)
  • No Lingard, hot streak
  • Good midfield

Personally, I'd WC

The ones you always think are banker clean sheets normally let you down. Maybe rudiger?
I think there's only 1 option even remotely up for discussion there - Rudiger.
Rotation may take him out anyway, but if you're not going to start Coady home to Sheff Utd, when are you going to play him!
Yes Rudiger is where my head is at.

Sorry to be straight forward, but the team looks like something that wasn't changed in last 5 weeks. Unless you score out of luck, most players seem to be having super tough games or not in their mid-season form

I'm seriously flagging with energy to do my FPL team now, can't really be bothered to look at every fixture again :(

Can anyone just highlight if there are tasty doubles or blanks left now? Got a free hit left and no idea when to bloody well bother with it now

So a new idea is to keep Cresswell and sell Dias to Shaw for a -4?

Although it might not be the best idea if Cresswell is out for longer than expected.

Hmmmm, I'll be annoyed if Cresswell is now fit. Would never have taken a hit with them playing Newcastle. Hopefully a bluff though. Surely not recovered that quick from a hammy? I trsut nobody now after the Dean Smith/Jack Grealish malarkey.
