I would expect the sugar daddy clubs to leave first as it is less about making money for them and more about reputation and prestige ownership affords them, the American parasites will be the last to leave as it is solely about making more money for them.

Great news if City and Chelsea are backing out, as the whole thing may well collapse. They should still be punished for pulling a disgusting stunt like this against all rules.

If it does collapse, the Glazers and other American owners might decide it isn't worth it, now their dream of control of their own broadcasting rights is dead. It's what they have wanted all along.

If this collapses we might be able to get them out and reform football ownership and governance. Massive stakes here.

I await what Perez says, after what he had said last night that the 12 had all signed up a few days ago. He made that very clear that nobody could leave.
Then they could send their junior team to the matches. Would be good practise for them.

Great news!

Also, I can’t help but think what made someone at Chelsea agree to this in the first place? Will head(s) roll and some executive gets sacked as a result?
No doubt more facts will come out in the next weeks and months, but apparently both Chelsea and City were left out of the decision-making process for a while and then had to make a last-minute decision whether to join.

I could be talking massive shit though but that's what I remember.

If only great grandfather Glazer had pulled out...

Barely, if at all.

I certainly won't think any better of them.
Me neither mate but I think they will be unlikely heroes in the media, unfortunately United have no escape due to being the ring leaders.

So Roman held the chair for the Glazers, and then pulled it out just as they were going to sit down.

Honestly it was stupid to get involved, but glad he decided against it.

We're the baddies now aren't we? I understand it was ownership and not the players/coaches/etc, but how did they think they would sell it even? Yeah we make money while hundreds of teams in the FA employing 10s of thousands of people would be at the brink. This hurts.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.

The media should praise Chelsea a ton so that it forces the other clubs to back out. Then they should say "sike" and give Chelsea the slating they deserve.

As fans we need to ensure we act against the glazers for tarnishing the club's reputation.

yup that’s a rip indeed
Perfect, now we also hear Athletico is out. So if we could have Chelsea, City, Barcelona and Athletico out, that's 8 teams left. Let's see what you do Joel Glazer.

Oil money clubs don't give a feck about the super league - won't surprise me if City withdraw as well. The ones that care are clubs that actually have to make money like us / Madrid.

Roman the thief will do anything to stay out of jail. He's been hiding under a rock for ages, all that publicity doesn't do him any good. Good decision or not I have no respect for him whatsoever. Same with City, the have enough Arab oil in their veins to easily walk away from that. Any coincidence the oil clubs PSG/Chavs/City don't want to be in it?

Only if we dig our heels in. If everyone packs up and leaves there's shit on everyone's shoes. However I do think you're right. We are part of the 'organisers'.
It's the Americanized set up of the thing that confirms ours and Liverpool's owners being at the spearhead for me, Arsenal will have eagerly tagged along as Kronke will be sick of the lack of CL money in recent years, Perez is the other key player because years of overspending has Real Madrid in terrible financial trouble.

Honestly this is happening a bit to quickly. I had hoped that the parliament would get working on that fan ownership legislation, but now they'll probably just go "job well done" when the ESL falls apart.

But we need those oil clubs to collapse the cards first. Then we can see what we do. We need United out of this.
