Fair enough, that make sense. I'm not sure how I'll feel about it until it happens. I'll still want to support my team, but I can see my interest waning over time.Fair question, but I think there is a difference between using something – like facebook etc. – and loving something – like being a fan of a football club. I cannot and will not love something that is owned by people affiliated with a murderous government.
Fake fanI'd stop following United even though they've been such a vital part of my everyday life for more than 20 years.
Bait dodged! White text clearly seen on this crappy screen I've gotFake fan

The Glazers dont actually actively invest from their pockets into the club. Their “investments” into the club is basically funded by the clubs cash and by borrowing from banks. If the Glazers had 49% and we the fans had 51%. Would the Glazers invest in the club seeing they are the minority shareholders?
Same. A big nope from me.I'd stop following United even though they've been such a vital part of my everyday life for more than 20 years.
Do you mean that Utd positively impact the Saudi’s and somehow redeem them ? Only way I can see that happening is if they appoint Ole as PM and Pogba as Secretary of StateSo let’s get this straight.
We are seriously aggrieved that the glazers are sucking money out of the club they paid for when it could go on investment for United.
However if we agree with the Saudi takeover we are okay because we have a bottomless fund regardless of the crimes against humanity from this country.
I am fine with any owner as long as we don’t go the way of Barcelona.
I don’t like what the Saudis have done however if we can impact positive change somehow by collaboration then it’s worth a try.
I’m clutching in all honesty!Do you mean that Utd positively impact the Saudi’s and somehow redeem them ? Only way I can see that happening is if they appoint Ole as PM and Pogba as Secretary of State
Yeah a visible poll though.Needs a poll. I'd be genuinely interested in seeing the results, since there are loads of posters on here who don't voice their opinions in threads like this - but who will probably vote in a poll.
As long as the right question is asked.Yeah a visible poll though.
It is not just the money factor, I would think they would employ efficient people who would run the club for footballing reasons, rather than look at club as a big money minting machine.Aside from the human rights stuff They would be great owners and they’d turn us into a winning machine
Is there only one family in Saudi?the Saudis are an odious nation/family and I would not like anything to do with them.
They have never invested in our club. They have spent some of the clubs money on the club, whilst extracting as much as they feel they can get away with.If the Glazers had 49% and we the fans had 51%. Would the Glazers invest in the club seeing they are the minority shareholders?
Who decides what the right question is though? Would we need a poll to decide? As long as the right question is asked.
"Is a Saudi backed ownership acceptable to you?" is a different question than "Does Saudi backed ownership make you happy?"
I've never understood why polls are so restricted here. I think (timed) polls give us a great snapshot of what a fanbase is thinking about an issue at a certain point in time.As long as the right question is asked.
"Is a Saudi backed ownership acceptable to you?" is a different question than "Does Saudi backed ownership make you happy?"
Half of the British and anyone American would vote for either Dems or Republicans who are war mongers. They simply have better PR. I am not condoning what he has done or are doing but it's being hypocritical to just blame them only.So let’s get this straight.

When people say Saudis in the context of buying United they are almost certainly referring to the Saudi government/Royal family. So maniacal and murderous would be fair enough.Wouldn't make much difference to me honestly. All this high ground stuff is a bit over the top. Also it's a bit rude to judge everyone in SA as if they're some maniacal murderous people. American elite cause just as much suffering, English elite as well as the royals have done the same over the years. Same kettle of fish the lot of them.
Only time united will have respectable owners is when the fans own it, but that is never happening. For me, what those people do is between them and god, I just want to enjoy some football with the team I love.
