Pexbo going in deep on Murphy in here, what's he done to you?

Murphy looks like someone just told him they’re not making Creme Eggs any more.

It’s terrrible, 12-11 Murphy. Judd can’t allow any single mistake any more.

That terrible shot and fluke taking it to a decider would have been too much.

The last 4 frames after the interval took like 45 minutes only. I know that Judd believes in taking his shots on but that last frame was a bit embarrassing from him , took everything on and missed most of them by a big margin.

Ive been glued to the tv watching snooker all day.

Was so invested in the Trump Murphy match I missed most of the PSG game :wenger:

Selby takes this. Hitting form at the right time.

Great semi-final lineup although from a spectacle point of view I would have slightly preferred Trump in there.

First time since 1988 there's been 3 former World Champions in the semi-finals, remarkable stat really.

I really don't know where this Murphy form has come from, his 19/20 season was ok but in general his form over the last 5 years has been dreadful and littered with first and second round exits.

I called Kyren Wilson as a future World Champion a few years ago at work and was laughed at so I'd love to see him win it.

Selby just looks so good though, I think he has to be favourite from here but his match against Bingham will be an absolute war.

You can't beat the one table setup and I'm looking forward to having a couple of days off work to watch it all!

To be fair it's a walkover for Selby from here on. The other three have had their 'cup final' performances just to get this far. They will mentally implode. Trump or Ronnie would have been the only ones to offer any resistance.

I agree if Selby brings his A game, I don't see any of the others touch him. But that's never a guarantee and Bingham when on form is a scoring machine, so he'll still need to play well to beat him. I fancy Wilson to put up a good fight in a potential final as well. No idea about Murphy, he seems to be punching above his weight at the moment, but still an ex world champion and once runner-up, so you never know.

Well done he’s 13
Bingham has a chance if he keeps these long range pots up. He will likely slip in a session though and Selby will capitalise

Is it really this bad? I’ve seen a couple similar that would never have gone in on a usual match table. Is it the angle or is that ridiculous?

Be interesting to see the behind the pocket angle, that’s usually a very good indicator. It’s a bit hard to tell for definite from that one

Yeah the angle definitely exaggerates it but I’ve seen numerous shots where it’s dropped in, sometimes at pace when it’s already hit the cushion or jaw. I think they’ve definitely given them a more generous cut.

Possibly. Snooker took a bit of a hammering the other year when McGill had that agonising few matches and Ronnie came out and said all the young players coming through were shit. It wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve widened the pockets a bit more to ‘up the quality’

Man what a brutal snooker Murphy laid here. It must have cost Wilson about 50 points or more due to constantly hitting the black and getting a 7 point foul.

It looked like Wilson was running away with it for a bit there, but a couple of great frames from Murphy steadied the ship for him. He's still 4 behind but he'll be feeling really good about how he finished. Given himself a chance for tomorrow.

Did you guys know that Stuart Bingham’s nickname is ballrun Bingham? Dennis Taylor has only mentioned it 67 times in commentary.
The one that drives me insane is the endless shots of Selby’s missus. I swear there was one final session a few years back where every time he potted a ball we got a shot of her clapping.

Selby is now going into full Selbymode. You hate to see it on a Friday night.

It was good but not that good. It was laughable how many times Wilson kept hitting the black.

Bingham has his game face on. This is war vs Selby.

I'm amazed how far Wilson has got. Every time I see him, he makes fundamental mistakes in his safety game.
